i think there is more to this wallpaper then meets the eye!

Most, if not all the Wikileaks Wallpapers, have been made by fans, who haven't direct access to the cables.
I posted this specific wallpaper already on ATS here, few days ago, i found it on the net via twitter, and Wikileaks add it on their website few days later.

We have to double check that, but 99 % probability that the guy who created it, show what "he hopes the cables will containe", and not "he know they will containe".

I hope i am wrong, but it makes sense


Add on : "It's time to open the archive" what a quote from the twitter account of Wikileaks on August 19th. See here . Doesn't prove my point or deny it

ok will help for this one , this is a shisha or narguilé

for exemple in saoudi arabia they smoke shisha most of time when there is a meeting, they offer this as europen offer a drink or smoke a cigar.

i think in this wallpaper the relation is made with a arabic country as qatar or koweit .

This wall paper is available on wikileaks own site. Not a fan site. Can you provide a link to the original posting of this wall paper? If it wasn't the wikileaks site first?
I would be interested to know if wikileaks will just post fan created graphics on there own page.

P.S. All of these wallpapers are credited to "Agents of Chaos" on the wikileaks page anyways. Please see previous posts by myself and other members related to "Agents of Chaos".

Can you post a source to your claim that this is a "hope" of what is contained in the cables?

Even if i still believe it is just a fan wallpaper creation on what "he hopes the cables will contain", you can try to edit the picture with text editor, or forensic tools, and try to see if there are some "hidden" things in the code

Maybe the insurance file password ? Joking ....
Even if it will be the perfect place to hide a password, like in the famous ebook "Hacking.a.Terror.Network.The.Silent.Threat.of.Covert.Channels"

Anyway, it seems the picture doesnt have a normal "Exif" format, it can be normal because it was not taken from a camera. But they are still text or words.

With an Exif Editor, it highlight the word : Ducky
With an text Editor : you can see other word, few probably normal like : Exif , &Adobe , or Ducky again ...

Maybe a forensic picture specialist can give us some highlight ?

The picture was posted on the owni.fr site here, Wikileaks was under attack at this moment, if i remember well, so can't be sure that it wasn't too on the wikileaks web site. If someone has the time to check with archive.org or google cache ?

As you said, i have no proof that it a fan creation. My 99% was my "personnal" thought, not a fact
Even if the picture was on Wikileaks web site first, i (personaly) thing that a lot of fan support Wikileaks in different ways, with creating wallpapers, with hosts mirror or redirections (as i do during the first ddos attack), etc.

Anyway, you were right to state that 99% is probably too much. I check again their website. On the "Support Page", there is a quote above the wallpaper page "Share a Wikileaks release with a friend. Spread our wallpapers. Donate to support vital infrastructure.".
It said "our" wallpapers, and not "fan" wallpapers. So interesting ... The debate is open

By the way, as i said, i hope it's true, i hope this will revail all those things .. but we need to stay open mind in both directions

Has anyone asked himself what a relation could be between all the items shown at that wallpaper?
The first thing I thought about was a year. So what did I do? I opened my Google and typed in the keywoord "Apolo 11" and I got a page saying that it landed on the moon in 1969. I'm sorry my history knowledge is very bad as my English language also because I'm from the Netherlands (Europe).

Anyway, the second thing I did was looking for the year 1969 and I found a large wiki page. This is the link: en.wikipedia.org...

And I saw a lot of comparisons with the wallpaper. In 69 the Apolo landed, in that same year Nixon inaugurated, Woodstock may refer to the waterpipe etc..etc..etc... So maybe I'm wrong but I really do believe that the year 1969 has anything to do with the wallpaper!

ps. I had another account but it seems to be deleted, I'm lurking here for years now.

That's where I originally found the wallpapers but we also need to do some 'thinking' on the other two that are on the wikileaks site ie the one in red square and the pentagon wallpaper

I don't remember what Julian Assange stated word-by-word, but I remember it was something that the last diplomatic leak was just one mass leak of several future leaks that will change our view on history. Now, this wallpaper that we are discussing. This wallpaper may be fanmade, but I hope it isn't.

Just an FYI regarding that Icelandic bank. I wasn't aware of the huge conspiracy there: major shareholders gave themselves millions of dollars days before the bank went belly up. Now there is an injunction preventing the major news channel there from talking about it.

I never noticed any of that. It would be very like Assange to hide things in plain sight seeing as that's the very tactic used by those in power to conceal their greatest secrets.

I was a Mason for a number of years and they told us matter of factly that things hidden in plain sight are very rarely revealed. People are generally to oblivious to see what's under their nose. This is not because people are inherently stupid or misguided but because the information they are using to base their perception of reality from is deliberately flawed. In order for one person to have power another person must think they possess less. This is the only way any class of rule can exist. So the classes that gravitate towards power are fed on mana (or correct understanding) whilst the majority are fed on sh*t and left to rot. Pardon my French. I know because I come from that class. I've been raised on it's views and beliefs and they truly and utterly disgust me.

I'm not talking about alien overlords or secret arcane knowledge. I'm talking about the perception the people who we allow to rule over us and to mould our respective countries have of the mass populace. The fact these documents were hidden then released by Wikileaks should very clearly illustrate the perception that people are too ignorant and stupid to control them selves.

This belief has lead to the development of all of your religious, legal and political systems. Anything that exists that requires you to believe or have faith has been created to keep you down. To stop you discovering the true potential you have inside. Do you really think people who pursue power are shackled by such things? You think they have anything that you would consider to be morals? Do you feel any mercy when you step on an ant because this is how they see you.

Posts like this and many others I've read on this forum are showing me that true gold and genuine human intelligence and ingenuity do indeed exist. That and a healthy, thriving population of trolls
