If you dont want to hear anymore about wikileaks then stop reading the threads. The Wikileaks story is a "Hot Topic" and its what everyones talking about. Every day new cables are released and there is new information to discuss.
Considering that Julian is being held in custody at the moment makes it even more of a jucier story. People like the topic and want to talk about it.
The whole point of internet freedom is that people can talk about whatever the hell they like. Moaning about it and complaining isnt going to help.
Again if you dont like the threads just ignor them

I agree, too many threads won't change or help anything.
We need one section where people can post any new developements on wikileaks.

Also, if you spend all of your day in the chat as we do, there are more wikileaks threads than chat discussions on the screen.edit on 8-12-2010 by baked because: typo

Stop the Wikileaks threads?
Errr....no
What is important right now is Wikileaks, not some thread about how a brown and orange UFO flew past the Sun and Nibiru is hiding under the Suns arse about to strike at any time.
Wikileaks are changing the planet right now, along with Anonymous. In fact its the most important story this decade and is most influential thing ever to happen on the Internet to fight for freedom of speech and expression.
I did however, a week or so ago; ask for Wikileaks to have its own forum.
Something new happens every day (several times a day) concerning Wikileaks, these things need to be reported here on ATS and ATS members think so aswell.
Using your logic so do you, and those 4 clowns on Fox 5 saying that he deserves to be illegally murdered and does not deserve trial. What trial? As far as I'm concerned his actions aren't illegal if free speech is legal. If Free speech is illegal then documents can be classified. What risk does it put our national security in? Only the risk of them being exposed? Perhaps their own source of disinformation to distract everyone from the real issues. That people can create legislation to do this in the first place. Then they frame him for rape? Oh molestation now? She's CIA? Wow!!! They just use everyones curiosity against them. Once you understand the "secrets" of the secret society you begin to understand why they go through such great legnths to keep their repungent, repulsive, inhumane SECRETS hidden, and anything in the public eye that is brought to light is done by a hero. Anonymous is awesome, Julian is just a puppet, but who cares about HIM it's about the concept. If they enforce COICA and hand the rights of the net over to the government then it's clearly obvious free speech, and freedom to do as we please does not exist. SO if they assassinate Julian.. I want to see their blood spill to, and their families.

Since this guy is both a spy and a cyber terrorist, a bullet is JUST what he deserves... as well as the d-bags who keep supplying him with the classified material...
