What happened to the REAL SELENE ??

We all know Nicola Tesla was a great inventor. We know that some of his ideas are being used today. Now I've been looking around on the internet and maybe someone on here can shed some light on this.
I'd like to know what happened to SELENE. Nasa was involved, but now there's another project called SELENE. What I want to know is what happend to this one...

So I'd like to know if they are able today to use a laser to transmit Energy to power up a Satelite. Since I can't find any more info on this after 1999.

Does anyone know?

If the government is able to utilize anti-gravity to travel many times the speed of light, I'm absolutely sure that NASA or any other space/military agency is fully capable of transmitting energy via laser beam.
