Have you, perchance, paid any attention to what other sorts are being branded terrorists? If the government is ceded the power to kill at will, anyone who dissents will eventually be targeted, just as those who dissent now are placed on watch lists and branded terrorists in rhetoric.

Why is this so difficult to understand? It is one of the primary reasons why due process and inalienable rights were considered so vital at the founding of the US. Perhaps you would benefit from studying history and seeing where such a precedent has lead in the past.

I can see them targeting wikileaks supporters as terrorists.

Even if this guy is a loon and bent on destruction, he is a USA citizen and Has a right to due process.

They should allow his father to defend him in Court.

I know my history buddy, you just seem to think Osama Bin Laden and others needs to be arrested instead of being killed in battlesl. If you know YOUR history, then you should know that during the American revolution it was a war not just a criminal act. Do you see the Brits going around arresting people or fighting in battles? Thats what this Muslim American is doing. Hes declared war. So in response we should treat it as such. Thank you.
