It's that time of the year... College Bowl Season!!

So it's time for the 2nd Annual ATS College Bowl picks contest for the entire site!!!

That's right every one is eligible.. to claim the title..

Rules...

Copy the bowl schedule from my next post and ...

select your picks using the bold tags

If you decide you want to pick UTEP... simply add the bold tags around UTEP and this is how YOUR pick would look on your entry:

Make sure to hit preview before posting your picks

Why? .. because .. any entry with an edit will not be an accepted entry..., if you happen to miss a pick, which you shouldn't if you preview ... then you would just quote that particular game/s and add the tags in another post...

There is no gray area here... edited post = discarded entry.

Reason? simple, this is the holiday season and many will be off doing holiday deals..

The contest entries will be closed at 12PM EST on DEC 21st... this is to allow for the most entries...of course, if you are late to the contest so to say (miss any of the first 3 games) the games you missed wouldn't count in your entry...

Goal? Most correct picks..

Top Three WINS

1st place will receive 5000BTS Pts *

2nd place will receive 3500BTS Pts *

3rd place will receive 2500BTS Pts *

*staff is not eligible for points, but are eligible for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place position..

Example: staff member finishes 2nd.. the 2nd place points are out.. etc..

You want the points? finish in the top three

There is a tiebreaker should there be folks tied in the prize positions, that's the reason for the...

Total points tiebreaker : slot beneath the championship game between Auburn & Oregon.. simply put the total points you think wil be scored that game..

Example: If you believe Auburn will win 24-17, then your total points entry should be 41pts..

In the case of a tie involving the top 3 contestants after the Auburn vs. Oregon game... the closest to the points total WITHOUT going over, will get the win..

Should there be a miracle of some sort, and this tiebreaker not give us a winner.. then I would confer with those tied and come up with a reasonable solution to an unforeseen dillema

In the end this is supposed to be some fun and maybe some bragging rights for the winner..

I graduated from SEC and ACC schools.

If my calculations are correct, the SEC schools are making appearances in 10/35 bowls

And the ACC is represented in 5 out of 35 bowls

I know there are a lot of haters of the US south on here, but 15/35 isn't bad...in American football, the south rocks
