Whats it all about? DNA and evolution?

not really sure

thats why I'm posting

Simply put the current human has 44 "standard chromosomes" and 2 "sex chromosomes".

Chromosomes are the packaging for our genetic material, or DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). DNA carries a specific code that gives instructions to our body on how to grow, develop and function. The instructions are organized into units called genes.

Drunvalo Melchizedek stated through certain means of gaining a new spiritual consciousness, we would evolve to gain two chromosomes, hence the 46 and 2. We would become more evolved and higher spiritual beings

The first kind of human has a chromosome composition of 42+2.

They comprise a unity consciousness that does not see anything outside themselves as being separate from themselves.

To them, there is only one energy - one life, one beingness that moves everywhere. Anything happening anywhere is within them, as well. They are like cells in the body. They are all connected to a single consciousness that moves through all of them. These are the aboriginals in Australia. There might be a few African tribes left like this.

Then, there is our level, comprising 44+2 chromosomes. We are a disharmonic level of consciousness that is used as a steppingstone from the 42+2 level to the next level, 46+2.

We are dangerous to both ourselves and nature, but we are necessary, and this can be seen within the various geometries.

from: Interview with
Drunvalo Melchizedek

where I'm going with this I'm not sure,

but one question would be is Drunvalo Melchizedek a crackpot theorist?

anybody?

46 and 2 by Tool

My shadow's
Shedding skin and
I've been picking
Scabs again.
I'm down
Digging through
My old muscles
Looking for a clue.

I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a piece to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in.
I wanna feel the changes coming down.
I wanna know what I've been hiding in

My shadow.
Change is coming through my shadow.
My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking
My scabs again.

I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
And insecure delusions.

I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I've endured within

My shadow
Change is coming.
Now is my time.
Listen to my muscle memory.
Contemplate what I've been clinging to.
Forty-six and two ahead of me.

I choose to live and to
Grow, take and give and to
Move, learn and love and to
Cry, kill and die and to
Be paranoid and to
Lie, hate and fear and to
Do what it takes to move through.

I choose to live and to
Lie, kill and give and to
Die, learn and love and to
Do what it takes to step through.

See my shadow changing,
Stretching up and over me.
Soften this old armor.
Hoping I can clear the way
By stepping through my shadow,
Coming out the other side.
Step into the shadow.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

tool kicks ass. a lot of their lyrics have somewhat mysterious undertones. to me, this is proof that psychotropical substances expand the mind.

I say yes, he's a crackpot. The aboriginees of australia do NOT have 42+2, or else they wouldn't be human.

Humans have 46 Chromosomes. End of story.

There was actually a tracing project from some confirmed early african men, some 50,000+ years ago, following the line to find out how humans spread across the earth. They can do this because the male chromosomes retain their tags and remain constant, while female chromosomes have more variety and change across even just a generation. The result is that the characteristics of a male's genes are present through the line of males down from him - if he had males going all the way to a great great grand son, then that gggrand son would carry many close genetic tags to that of the originator. If you find one of the most original tags, chances are, you can trace any human being back through those tags, to their originator.

What I'm getting at, is that in this project, some study was spent on the Aboriginees, and they exhibited tags from Southern Asia who in turn exhibited tags from the Middle East who in turn exhibited tags from the heart of Africa. They were completely human, and they did not have 44 chromosomes in total.

Viendin is right. If aboriginals had only 44 chromosomes, they wouldn't be able to have children with non-aboriginals. Of course they are able to have healthy children with non-aboriginals, which means that his theory is probably wrong.

Gaining extra chromosomes occurs when chromosomes break. A chromosome breaks into two pieces which contains together the same information as the unbroken chromosome. You don't need extra chromosomes for extra evolution.

Furthermore, more chromosomes doesn't mean more advanced. A goldfish has 94 chromosomes and a king crab 208 (source).
