OK, You are RIGHT, maybe not EVERY child was told that, but the GREAT MAJORITY was.
And by ANY logic, that DOES NOT equal to disinformation, it is a MINOR mistake, if any...

I wonder if the OP had a dimensional shift. In his timeline, NO AMERICAN CHILD WAS EVER TAUGHT THAT WASHINGTON COULDN'T TELL A LIE. I'm willing to bet that the OP also thinks New Zealand is out of place and that Mandela is dead and we only dropped one bomb on Japan.....

It has to do with the fact that the OP is not acknowledging the connection; thus, he is throwing all credible and known evidence out the door. Once someone proved to the OP that he was wrong, he tweaked his original statement. So, people proved him wrong again, and yet again he tweaked his second altered statement. Regardless about what type of proof people bring to the table, he will continue to add one or two words in order say, "No one has proven me wrong!"

Prove to me that wikileaks is NOT disinformation saying that "EVERY" CHILD in america is taught that george washington couldn't tell a lie..... It has become an endless feedback loop. Even though his latest statement is based upon a certain amount of truth, he is not acknowledging the original flaw in his first statement.

Why? He wants to change the game, so he can win this particular debate. Without acknowledging his original flaw between the quoted phrase and it's origin, he has turned this into a wait and bait game.

Make a statement - People prove it wrong - Alter the statement slightly - People prove it wrong - etc... Never once did he acknowledge the original flaw.

But when I was in school we were taught the story that George Washington chopped down his Father's cherry tree, and when he was confronted he told his Father that he "could not tell a lie". This is, what I believe Wikileaks is referring to.

So I use a total truth... That truth is which people are agreeing now that NOT EVERY american child is taught that George Washington couldn't tell a lie... Wikileaks has made a disinformed remark just proof that they are spreading disinformation. I can get into how we were taught in school that it was honest abe that never told a lie and that the george washington was a fable read to us never taught as a fact....

The only facts and truths I will deal with now is that WIKILEAKS as stated in the picture and on their site (as proof) that EVERY EVERY SINGLE WHICH ONE american child is taught that george washington COULDN'T tell a lie, THAT is the disinformation,. It was George Washington, not Abe Lincoln. You are confusing the fact that Abe Lincoln was called "Honest Abe" with the stroy or GW chopping down the cherry tree. Period, end of story, you are wrong. Get over it.

Everyone else has come to an agreement that your original statement is wrong. You are still defending your original flawed statement. Until you acknowledge your original flaw in logic, there is no reason for me to return to this specific thread.
