Wikileaks: A Government Caught Up in Mendacity and Lies
by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
Some member of the United States government released to WikiLeaks the documents that are now controversial. The documents are controversial, because they are official US documents and show all too clearly that the US government is a duplicitous entity whose raison d’etre is to control every other government.

Now that we have had this latest bit from Wikileaks for a few days now, this article takes a look at some of the effects so far. I think the main thing being exposed is not so much what is in the leaked documents themselves, but the reaction of the Government, Media, and other public figures. They show their true colors, their hostility to any truth.

Mike Huckabee, a supposed Christian Minister and others calling for the assassination of Assange. This is the "Freedom" we defend through in our foreign policy and War on Terror, the freedom to cover up information, to assassinate people, to lie to our public to perpetuate a war that is looting our countries wealth and the resources of other countries.

Perhaps Huckabee needs to be the one put in Guantanamo.

Not too long ago we all in the Western world were upset, because an Ayatollah called for the death of an author.

Now we see our own "old men" shout from the hills...

What's more amazing is that the site, and Assange, will be silenced, probably sooner than we all expect, and the large majority of the world will continue their Christmas shopping as if nothing happened.

The vast majority of the people cares for nothing except their credit cards. They deserve everyhting they get.
