To investigate what the bacteria is made out of isn't a simple exercise. Imagine the amount of skill the people you hired would have to be, and the
equipment you would need to even see the bacteria, let alone test it's DNA.
This is the size of the DNA they are testing.

On the left is a grain of salt, 1000UM. On the right is the bacteria, less than 5UM. And they are testing this bacteria. Imagine how delicate the
procedure would be..
