a.1) No the Jew's weren't the only ones to die in it. Only half the victims of the Holocaust where Jewish. The rest where several million Germans who wouldn't bow to Hitler, Gypsies, Slavic peoples, Homosexuals(Hitler was really hard on them because he was bi-sexual for a time), feminist's, communist's, and other people who disagreed with his national socialism.

There ABSOLUTELY was a holocaust.

My grandfather was stationed/sent over there during WWII and had a ton of photos that he brought back with him. The photos I saw were beyond horrific IMO. I saw them for the first time when I was around 7 years old. I didn't see them again until after his passing a few years back. They were so tragic, disgusting, and disturbing that for almost 3 decades the images stuck in my mind as vividly as if I had looked at them just seconds before.

He was haunted by the things he saw there until the day he left this earth.

The holocaust is real. The depravity and evil that reside in some people is real. The naivete and ability to ignore these atrocities by so many is also real.

Dark days indeed. I think even if folks tried to exaggerate the events that occured in the holocaust, they would probably still come up short at the amount of evil it took to do the things they did.

Just my 2 cents....

Sure it happened but the dates were messed up. What happened in WW2 was a travesty agreed but the real Holocaust happened much much earlier. In WW2 6million were put to death. Yet during the Spanish Inquisition 27million people were put to death THAT is a holocaust.

you are a rabbi and asking this ? i have been to yad yashem in jerusalem , and i have done the march of the living in poland , i have seen the camps . there is an old woman living in my building with prison tats from Dachau death camp .

never forget , is what "we " say , but it is happening again all over the , hisrtory repeats it self again and again

Obviously there was no Holocaust . There is 'someone' or 'something' behind this scene .

Before I answer the question posed by the OP, I must comment on the posts that question the OP on this thread. One of the tag lines at ATS, is "Deny Ignorance" The OP has asked a question, I fully accept on a live wire topic, but we should encourage the asking on any question on this website. And we should all be prepared to answer as fully as we can, questions or points of view out accross, and as this is a cross section of people, there will always be many views. Posting why have you asked this question post, added nothing.

As some posters have asked. I assume you are asked about issues during the WWII, and there was a holocaust but I would dispute the number of jews killed by the Nazi. By focussing on what was done to the jews, the killing of millions by all parties during WWII is forgotten.

Contradictions in the holocaust story:

-Jews were said to be immediately gassed when they arrived at the camps, but there were also graves of bodies found that suffered extreme malnutrition and disease which would have taken time.

-Jews were said to be gassed immediately upon entering the camps but yet were also given hair cuts.

-It was said that Germans collected strands of hair, boots, personal items, etc, from prisoners in order to sell in other countries to finance the Nazi war party. Yet, at the Holocaust camps in Auschwitz, there are still these piles of belongings, thus the Germans did not sell these.

-The holocaust was said to include 6 million Jews, but burials this large can not be found, not even 1/6th this size have been unearthed.

-The Holocaust provided a reason for migration to Israel, under the same powers that financed the holocaust (illuminati bloodline)

-The death camps were fortified zones of torture and punishment, yet stories have been told of people sneaking into and out of the camps in order to experience the horror for themselves.

Society doomed to repeat itself? Yes I think so. The very, very small minority will fight back, the rest will be gassed or deported to another "promised land".

This is the main problem I see with "Holocaust debate", and that is, understanding the official definition of "The Holocaust". "The Holocaust" refers to the intentional and planned attempt to genocide(kill all of them) "The Jews", by the NAZIS, using gas chambers, with the number killed being 6 Million.

Now, relax, and read that again. This is THE official definition of "The Holocaust". In many countries, if you question or doubt any part of that, you are labeled a "Holocaust Denier", and can be legally prosecuted for questioning it. You will also be called an anti-semite.

This has happened to many people, including scientists, whos research findings have not coincided with the official story, as well as historians, who found holes in the official story, and many more.

This makes me think, they are hiding the truth. If something is historically true, then why would it be forbidden to question it, or do independent research to verify the official claims?

If "The Holocaust" was discovered to be a hoax, or a lie, would that afftect the standing of Israel?

Personally, I believe in FREEDOM. To question, to doubt, to conduct independent research, and to be able to present and publish such findings, even if they counter the official story.

We also have to consider, the Germans sent ships of their Jews to the USA, and UK, and they were forced to turn back. The Germans also had a plan to relocate the Jews to Madagascar.

Was their "anti-semitism" in Germany at that time? I believe yes. Did the Germans have a reason for it? Maybe. Were Jews and others placed in camps? Yes. But, a bunch of dead people does not equal "Holocaust".
There was mass starvation, especially as the allies bombed the supply routes. And there was disease, Typhus. And yes, they had a crematoria, because you have to do something with the dead bodies.

And Zyklon B was a de-licer for clothes and beddings.

So, my answer is no, to the official story. Fos someone really interested, I would say, have an open mind, and really look at many of the good youtube vids and websites on holocaust historical revisionism.
It's very interesting, and I think the facts are more slanted that "it" didn't happen. That doesn't mean bad things didn't happen. Just imagine if the Germans and Japanese had the ability to bomb the supply routes to the US camps the Japanese and Germans were placed in, just because of their ethnicities. The victors write the history.

I believe the holocaust was a direct result of the Jews crucifying Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. The Jews of the time said 'let his blood be on our hands and on the hands of our childrens children' - and so it was...

Minor correction -

Taken from wiki, as official as it gets on the web. Tools (such as gas chambers for example) were numerous and no one claims that it was the only way to kill people. And number is not round 6 million, current estimates are between 5.1 millions to 6.2 millions with various scientist arguing about the real figure and nobody persecutes them for that. More then 3 million are not just numbers but are people whose name/location is known - there is database in Yad Vashem with 3.8 millions but i doubt they check every entry for duplicates so i would lower the number.

"Bunch of dead people" is nice description. There were more then 9 million Jews in Europe prior WW2, and there were more then 3 millions afterwards. If it was because of "usual" war tragedies then general population of Europe should have also dropped in same proportions. Gladly, loss of life in non-Jewish population (even in Poland) was not as tragic. There were special laws concerning only Jews.
As for Zyklon B - it is HCN (chemical warfare agent) in carrier. And it will kill people if used in appropriate concentrations.

That is my first post and there are a lot after that one. I had a lengthy discussion with a Zionist poster that insisted that his Zionsists sources proved mine wrong when it did no such thing. The debat eventually stopped because it became apparent that straws where just being pulled at and no amount of facts were going to change the mind of a Zionist.
Here was my last post. So there should be plenty of posts to determine what my stance is and why between those two post links.
