Steve Landesberg, a star of the 1970s and '80s police comedy "Barney Miller," has died after a long battle with cancer, his agent said. He was 65. "I'm sorry to report the loss of Steve," Landesberg's agent Jeffrey Leavitt told The Hollywood Reporter Monday. The type of cancer the actor had died from Friday was not specified. The New York native also appeared on TV's "Head Case," "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law," "Cosby," "The Golden Girls," "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Seinfeld."
