So, the Saudi king wants us to strike Iran. So does Israel and many Arab countries.

So China is frustrated with North Korea and is open to a reunified Korea. Meaning if we strike N Korea, they will stay out of it.

That’s what I gather from the recent Wikileaks document dump.

Our MSM seems to be going along with it saying, “see we have support, maybe we should do it.”

I say BullSh*t!

Do you want to go fight and die to serve a Suadi King or Chinese President interests?

Do you want to fight and die for Israel?

I say if we are the world’s mercenaries, then pay our soldiers top mercenary wages.

Don’t wave our flag in front of them and tell them we are doing it to protect Mom’s apple pie. Give them $100,000 a year and tell them to go do the only thing we lead the world in anymore – destroying other countries militaries.

That video was priceless! Put a big smile on my face!

Maybe we should destroy Iran, N Korea.....Hell let's not stop there! Wipe out Israel and bring lasting peace to the region!

F--- Yeah!

Hit China and Russia simultaneously, they'll never see it coming. Besides the end of the cold war was anti-climactic. We know we would have won, why did we let the Soviet Union punk out and go all democratic on us?

Honestly, we need to strike Canada and take BC, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon so that we don't have to drive through hippy lovin "Canada" to get to Alaska.

That's because you don't have an avatar! You cannot change the world without an avatar.

No avatar, no pull around here.

America feels the need to be the worlds protector. It will bite us in the ass soon. But if it is what the people want than it's what they want.

When I was in Marines, the Saudis offered everyone who served in the gulf $10,000 after the war. Bush Sr. rejected it saying the American military is not mercanaries. Somewhat pissed me off at the time, but I also did not consider myself a mercanary either.

Iraq 2, we fight a bloddier conflict so that China can come in and buy one of Iraq's largest oil fields. Something is very wrong about that.

If we strike Iran, the soldiers should get the money this time. Not $10,000 either, but $100,000. They'll need it because the VA is crap.

America sees every country's 'problems' as a way to profit from that country. It practises the same problem/reaction/solution abroad as it does at home.

It creates problems for a country, instigates the reaction, then the wonderful, helpful US arrives with the solution, which involves creating huge debts for that country and then taking control of its natural resourceds.

America isn't out to help, but to control and exploit..

Your wording of that first post was just....awesome.

The cables contain all sorts of state department diplomacy aka traveling weapons sales.
I'm surprised no one is reporting on that.
Like, we talk to xyz and they tell us that they can buy 10 replacement helicopters from Russia for 1/10 what they can get it from the US, but they really want better relations with the US so they will buy it from us.

Crazy world.

In one of the UAE cables, the leader actually said that about us - and said - that when it comes to the MidEast, the US needs to say something, then step back and wait for the other side to respond. He said we were too problem reaction solution and not patient enough with diplomatic type solutions.

I really loathe the UAE but that sure sounded like good advice.
I've been to the Caribbean, lol, and I live in the South, but I've also been to New York - I know not everyone in the world works and lives at the same speed.

I'm not sure what I am more concerned about here. The fact that I am starting to believe in your theory here or If true, then we might be in store for a rough road ahead. Being that the good ole' USA is in need of cash these day's
then they would be entertaining a lot more suggestions for compensation sort of thing. Like China righting off some of our debt.

But I must keep hope in this country of mine, and hold fast that they will do the right thing.............sigh.....I hope.

Stay

Yes, and when the US sees an opportunity it is chumping at the bit to get in there, create mayhem and get the goods!

Actually US doesn't even destroy other countries' militaries, it just creates mayhem, destroys all the infrastructure, grabs the goodies and leaves the country in a total mess.

If it did destroy other countries' militaries it would win the war - but it doesn't even manage that!

It's $120k every six months. Let's at least keep the numbers reasonable ;-) Of course some despots pay better than others, but the US and Canada are like bargain basement Eddies or Value Village when it comes to proper payment. If you're expected to kill for corrupt corporations, you should be paid well.

Cheers - Dave

Aherm... You make an interesting observation. We still don't know what is yet to be released, so perhaps it will materialize as so.

The problem is not convincing people the leak is coming, or what it's about. The problem is convincing them it's legit and not a disinfo campaign.

Smedley Butler said all this back in the 30's. A two time Medal of Honor recipient, one time Brevet Medal recipient, the most decorated US soldier of all time and Marine bad ass...he said that he was nothing but a leg breaking thug for the biggest criminals on the planet, and that all war is a racket.

Once I heard of him, and what he said, that is all I needed to know.

Wow, pay really went up nowdays for mercs. I rmember a friend of mine's brother making the rounds offering 100K a year in the early 90's.

Reminds me of a documentary on history channel years ago about a PMC (Private Military Company) which was hired to straighten out a country in africa. The UN had thousands of peacekeepers there for years and couldn't fix things. The PMC swept in with a few hundred operators and had the situation in control within months.

After that, PMC's where banned by the UN, it threatened the UN's validity and job.

Funny thing, since the Iraq war PMC's are all over the place again. I guess the UN quietly lifted the ban to let companies like Blackwater (now renamed) to operate.

All of this again leads me to believe the U.S. government is devolving into some strange Dr. Jeckle / Mr. Hyde Roman empire type monster forcing a weird/corrupt western freedom style government by waterboarding the crap out of evil doers.

I have repeatedly said I would fight for my country, but not torture someone for it. I'm not an animal.
