He has the RIGHT to ask for a jury trial. With luck the jury has read the fully informed jury web site and KNOWS they have the power to nullify a law and also to replace the judge.

This website says the case is in the Colorado District Court and that the presiding judge was John L. Kane, but it has been reassigned to Judge Marcia S. Krieger.
