Saudi Arabia urges US attack on Iran to stop nuclear programme
• Officials in Jordan and Bahrain have openly called for Iran's nuclear programme to be stopped by any means, including military.

• Leaders in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt referred to Iran as "evil", an "existential threat" and a power that "is going to take us to war".

OH imagine that?

US embassy cables: Washington requests biometric information for African leaders

Nice preview what we've got via the media, but it's just around 50-60 cables out from how many? 2 million? And it's already revealing interesting information which is proving that conspiracy theorists are not that fool as many believes.

I believe we're going to see few interesting things in the next few days.

Ya...erm...so...reading source after source and...at least so far...it seems if anything, this should be released by the US verses condemned...

beyond a few minor hiccups (which I am positive was in the news ages ago...the spying at the UN)...the rest seems very...well..diplomatic.

I think Wikileaks may have done more to increase the US's standing around the world than damage it frankly...however, maybe that was the point overall. the US has been seen in a pretty negative light for quite sometime...maybe the exposing of the stringpullers trying to create a paper monster out of the US to hide their dirty laundry is the actual conspiracy being revealed here...

I donno...meh, gonna walk away for a few hours and see what else has brought to light...for now, I am feeling pretty good about the west.

Now, the big question - how do we know that ANY of these documents are the real thing?

OH goodie, so now we question their authenticity because they are not saying what we want to hear.

Well, it might be a program to make replacement organs or something, to compromise them.
Or to detect weaknesses in their physical makeup, to target them if needed, so that a kill might look natural.
Whatever it is, it seems like black magick to me.

Ah, I stand corrected there, thanks. I was operating under the assumption that it was a typo.

Wikileaks changed it's IP address from 91.194.60.32 to 46.51.186.222, and it's back up again. Hosted under Amazon EC2. So it's in the U.S.A.

That one is down now too, it WAS working.
edit on 28-11-2010 by hadriana because: added last line - new IP is down too

How do I know I am at the correct Wikileaks?

Will the real Wikileaks please stand up?

P.S. I hope everyone knows that any communications they have with the word Wikileaks will be compiled and perused by your friendly neighborhood government.

No wonder they are fighting this tooth and nail. We still haven't seen nothing but a peak and already know that Hillary gave illegal orders to spy on the UN. Some people had the audacity to claim that this wouldn't be whistle blowing because it's too much data or wouldn't prove criminal acts.

This little snippet under the 'Embassy Cables: Gates warns of war with Iran' is quite interesting.

Without progress in the next few months, we risk nuclear proliferation in the Middle East, war prompted by an Israeli strike, or both. SecDef predicted "a different world" in 4-5 years if Iran developed nuclear weapons.

A classified directive which appears to blur the line between diplomacy and spying was issued to US diplomats under Hillary Clinton's name in July 2009, demanding forensic technical details about the communications systems used by top UN officials, including passwords and personal encryption keys used in private and commercial networks for official communications.

It called for detailed biometric information "on key UN officials, to include undersecretaries, heads of specialised agencies and their chief advisers, top SYG [secretary general] aides, heads of peace operations and political field missions, including force commanders" as well as intelligence on Ban's "management and decision-making style and his influence on the secretariat". A parallel intelligence directive sent to diplomats in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi said biometric data included DNA, fingerprints and iris scans.

Washington also wanted credit card numbers, email addresses, phone, fax and pager numbers and even frequent-flyer account numbers for UN figures and "biographic and biometric information on UN Security Council permanent representatives".

Telling you...the US is building a clone army...replace all world leaders with robotic organic home growns...I am totally expecting this to be a thread in the next few days!

"The documents show Saudi donors remain chief financiers of militant groups like al Qaeda"

We are buying oil from the Saudis so they can fund Al Qaeda? Am I wrong on this?

So we are essentially funding terrorists who are attacking our soldiers?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??????????

These documents are classified...at best, secret clearance.

Certainly not Top secret, or anything above that...this is just diplomats yacking, and a few odds and ends.

Any extraterrestrial material would be classified as higher than top secret...like...potentially much higher up, so even though I dreamed about it, it would be silly to think anything like that, or supressed technologies, etc...would be in this.

Sorry mate...there will be nothing on that level of interest released.

I dont know about others impressions of the data thats been released, but mines is one of " anti-climax".
250,000 docs released and its all about " Big Bad Iran"... I smell a rat...a great big propaganda rat. If you add that to the fact that their servers are apparently being dossed and its making news, there appears to be a publicity exercise in play to make us want to see the cables.

This is my opinion.

Respects
