Even though this is a bit sensationalized (promoting an up and coming DVD) I gotta tell you, the first footage from the articular (sp?) cloud, is bizarre (if real). I've seen UFO videos that drop other UFOs/Orbs but never originating from a cloud (again, if real)

So try if you will, to get past the dramatic-William Shatner-talking kid and zero in on the contents.

Opinions?

first video clip seems to be of a flare.
i think i have seen one other of these debunked,
cant say for sure, since they all just start to look the same.

Looks like a military aircraft on a practice exercise to me. There are several military bases around Hawaii.

looks like CGI to me. That "eyewitness" sounded like an actor reading a poorly-written script.

Could very well be. Maybe the cloud is making it look more paranormal-ish.

But yet, I think Hawaii, Peru, Brazil and a host of other tropical places attracts and perhaps, hosts UFOs too. Could be volcanic activities or perhaps the particular lay line they're on? Who knows and I do entertain this to be military now that you mention it.

Agreed. That's where I was having a rough time discerning whether this was real. The voice overs are way too staged but like I stated, they are after-all, promoting a DVD.
I know...this one is a slippery slope to vote on.

Richard Hoagland has a theory about the 19.5 degree spots of this and other planets. I believe the big island falls on or near one of these spots...

Yes indeed! It has to do with vortexes that, for the life of us, we simple do not understand.
Here's a snippet where 19.5 fall:

On the Sun: sunspot activity and the region of peak temperatures is limited to 19.5 degreees north and south.
On Venus: the presumably active major volcano complexes Alpha and Beta Regio are near 19.5 degrees.

On Earth:
Mauna Loa, Hawaii (19 degrees 28 minutes N, 155 degrees 37 minutes W) The largest shield volcano is at 19.6 degrees north. This is Mauna-Kea volcano on the island of Hawaii.
Mexico City, Mexico (19 degrees 23 minutes N, 99 degrees 10 minutes W) The Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan is at 19.6 degrees north.
Dzibalchen, (Yucatan), Mexico (19 degrees 28 minutes N, 89 degrees 46 minutes W)
Georgetown, Grand Cayman Island (19 degrees 18 minutes N, 81 degrees 26 minutes W)
Mount Emi Koussi, Chad, Africa (19 degrees 47 minutes N, 18 degrees 34 minutes E)
Mount Kalsubai, (near Bombay), India (19 degrees 33 minutes N, 73 degrees 43 minutes E)
Mountain near Xiangkhoang, Laos (19 degrees 17 minutes N, 103 degrees 17 minutes E)
Mountain near Potosi, Bolivia (19 degrees 13 minutes S, 66 degrees 22 minutes W)
Yasur Volcano, Tanna Island, Vanuatu (South Pacific Ocean) (19 degrees 31 minutes S, 169 degrees 25 minutes E)
Mount Samuel, Northwest Territory, Australia (19 degrees 13 minutes S, 134 degrees 8 minutes E)
Gweru, Zimbabwe, Africa (19 degrees 31 minutes S, 29 degrees 49 minutes E)

On Mars: the "vast" Olympus Mons shield cone volcano is at 19.5 degrees.
On Jupiter: the "red spot" which is an obvious vortex is at 19.5 degrees.
On Neptune: in 1986 Voyager II discovered a similar spot at 19.5 degrees north

I've seen like videos before, with similar orb movements and such. This is the first one I have seen showing a probe launch. But what I want to know is: Who, when, where did the video of the orb on the ground come from? The one at 4:51. This:

I have been to hawaii twice for extended stays. The energy there is incredible. I am selling my house and will be moving there in a few years just because of what I felt when I was there.

Whoa, what the hell was THAT? Good eye Tempest!!!
It looks like one of those concave (convex?) lenses. Hey, are we being duped yet AGAIN????? Or is that a bona fided anomaly?

Would you swing by Florida and pick me up (or fish me out should we go under in 2012)?

It could be CGI as the convex desktop lense it a very simple routine. There is a part of the bush that looks to be in front of the orb and has a reflection in the orb, which means it would be harder to do. I'll look at the outline of the front shrubs and see if the orb was 'placed' into the pic. brb

ADD INFO: Well, the orb IS in the foreground, in front of everything else, so this may be CGI.

Well unless this is part of their DVD (evidence) we don't know if this was an over-sight or part of their documentary because it's at the end of this what, trailer? Maybe it's a cliff-hanger effect although, I would never have spotted it unless you pointed it out. Hmmmmm!

Yes, I think it is just an addition to draw you in, and not connected to the 2 videos narrated. So I will now consider this specific part a CGI hoax, but with nothing to do with the videos authenticity.

Real or not, it looks pretty cool how in the beginning the Ufo seems to shoot a pod out of it. Definitely not the same ole type we normally see. Who knows.. *shrugs*

I hope you mean military flares and not lens flares, right?

Yeah, could be. But do they typically practice dropping flares on a cloudy day? I mean, what would be the point if it might get lost within the clouds? And don't they have bases to do their flare-practices in/over/on (unlike the city of Phoenix in 1997)???
I mean, are they testing the integrity of these flares or the reactions from said-civilians?

I don't know. The frequency for flares as an explanations, is starting to sound like a modern-day 'swamp-gas' excuse.

I don't think it is a lens flare OR a military flare. I don't think it is a military flare only because the flare shoots straight down. The only reason I can think a military craft would do this is to target a ground radar/IR station to blind it, and I don't think this is the case here. But then again, it may be testing or practicing for later mission blackout preparedness.

"Shoot of pod"?????
I've never heard it put like that. For some reason I heard 'boom chicka wah wah" music playin' just now.

Oh you young whippersnappers with all your fancy new lingo. It's hard to keep up with you. But promise us relics that you won't go changin' the term UFO until we're long gone, 'k?
