Authorities have arrested a San Diego man for what authorities have described as running a "bomb making factory." The find was the largest cache of explosives in one home EVER found! George Djura Jakubec, a naturalized U.S. who was born in Serbia, was arrested without incident and pleaded not guilty to 28 felonies including armed robbery.

I wonder why it seems like this story isn't getting the coverage you would think in today's day and age.

This is the largest cache of explosives ever found in a single home inside the US. There apparently has been virtually no coverage however after this initial report by AP and CNN...

In a world where any news related to terrorism is typical front page fare it seems unusual to me that this story wouldn't be headline material for any number of main stream media news sites...

How is this ethnic profiling? The story was reported not because of the suspects country of origin but because of the explosives...

i'll tell you this, he is not guilty. the man's house was raided and they discovered largest cache of explosives ever in the US and is running a bomb factory and has been accused with armed robbery, but denies it all? he is either really stupid or really innocent.

While it's not a story I was aware of, it's still available at CNN's site and it didn't take much to turn it up by searching.

I'm not an expert, but how is getting rid of explosives by blowing them up the way to go? The Gov. declared a state of emergency, in case the plume that follows the blast might be hazardous, and residents are being given less than a 24 hour notice. Maybe there are biological agents there as well?
