Real-life superheros have begun to spring up everywhere. In fact, there are so many real-life superheros running around the city of Seattle that the local police have been encouraged to study up on the real life superhero movement to familiarize themselves with a growing trend.

I totally agree that there is a lack of trust in police and government. So I can see a time when people are more inclined to call a superhero group like the one in Seattle that the article mentions than, say, the police.

Gosh this is a time when news reports abound of police arriving at 911 calls, and then brutalizing the person needing help; or arriving to try and establish peace, only to shoot and kill an unarmed teenager.

So why not turn to something like The Rain City Superhero Movement? Hell, one day soon we might need them to protect us from ... well, from what the TSA is doing to the American people.

Kick Ass was a documentary?

I just watched the movie kick ass the other night
it was not half bad, I enjoyed it
I guess this follows that like the way kids used to imitate power rangers
seems the people in the pics in the link are from that generation ....

I do think Superheroes are needed in any society.

Well if you feel that's necessary. I prefer my superheros a little on the chubby side and braless but I've always marched to the beat of a different drummer.
