That is the worst display I have ever seen of cricket, by an Australian cricket side

I hope I never have to see batting like that agin from us

Didn't even get to 100!

I forgot to watch it and SA vs India online last night, so I went to the cricinfo website this morning to see what happened. I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing Aus 98 and England 157/0

Now granted it was a bowler's pitch to start off with, but 98 all out
I don't see how Aus can possibly pull off a win from this.

Anyone else watching?

It's not looking so bad for Australia at the moment,I think they still have a bit of a chance

What? They're 250 in the hole at present, and England has 5 wickets left. If England can get another 100 on the board for the last 5, I think it's pretty much a done deal.

Yeah I was working from an earlier score card when I posted that and Australia seemed to be bowling quite well, I thought they might at least be able to restrict the score to a point where they had a chance.
It seems not

What a performence by Australia. They bowled, fielded, and batted horribly so far.England are well on top and have bowled and batted superbly. It would take some Batting for Australia to win this test match and it seems likely that they are heading towards a innings defeat. The way they are batting it it looking very gloomy for Australia to retain the Ashes and looking very likely that England will hold that little urn.

Ponting.. What a bad loser

Well that's it it is the end of the game. It looks like they will lose by an inning's with poor batting setting it up. Not only that but England will easily win the Ashes. England have improved over their poor performence back in 2006/07 and will manage to win the Ashes and they should be proud.Australia however has declined as a team and will continue to slide downhill if they don't do something fast. Losing in 2 innings in test matches shows that Australia are in badly in need of a proper team and must not always change it around.

*Congratulations England on winning the Ashes*

Australia was smashed and on home turf,(except at the WACA)

Well done to England! They batted and bowled brillantly and outplayed Australia at every point of this game. They have shown that they can win the Ashes in Australia and should encourage other teams that it is possible to easily beat them and not fear them.

Australia have a lot to do if they want to draw this series going into the dead rubber. The way this is going it looks like England will take the series 3-1 or 2-1.Australia however, will be trying to play for pride and will make changes to their team. Hopefully these are the right changes and I really hope they can perform well in Sydney and win that test match however, the way they performed in this boxing day test match I am starting to have my doubts that they have the side to win.
