Ha...that Final lunar eclipse tomorrow is kind of eery in regard to the verse in the bible and what's happening: " and I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; " ...

" the moon will take on a vibrant red color " according to NASA...spooky stuff...but religious nonsense nonetheless.

Because they knew s. korea would not do anything that time that they could get away with it with no consequence...

N. korea knows this time there will be consequences for any action they take and will not do it..

That is if s. korea even do the live fire drills.

Really now... If that's true I wonder why? Last I heard the B-2 was grounded for combat operations, so maybe they finally worked out all of the kinks. I'm very curious about this. Please post more info as you get it!

Youre being too cynical.

Who knows how this will end up, but in any case, the rhetoric isnt healthy. History has shown that nations arent afraid of leading their peoples to war for relatively little meaningful reason. I actually think its excites them; the generals, and leaders - in short, the elite.

Hitler was a nut. He though his little nation could take on the whole world. Kim jong il is a major nutjob..Whats to stop him from striking back? Hes already threatned the south. What good is a threat if it doesnt materialize? Especially when the threat is made just prior. They said if they do this live drill thing, theyre gonna face the consequences. This threat was just issued. South korea is 40 minutes away from playing chicken with it.

none of this makes sense. the only way you CAN make sense of it, is by saying they both want war. Why? who knows. politics is complicated and evil.

It appears that all civillians on the Islands in the disputed zones have been ordered to the air raid shelters.
This is gonna be fun..little Kimmy knows that if he does anything this time, he will have to live in Switzerland permanently.

Me cynical???

It is not in N. Koreas best interest to do anything right now when it is being expected.....

N. Korea is looking after their best interest...

If the fire drills do continue and N. korea does anything it still does not mean an all out war..

I'm thinking N. Korea would attack when no one is expecting it when they can get the best bang for their buck..

Kim is crazy but he is not stupid.......

I don't think S. Korea wants war, but if N. Korea would just chill out S. korea would not care less what they do...

(I really hope the fog stays all day) I just never knew for fog to last ALL day....

Different place and climate their so I don't know whats the norm... Maybe the fog is a blessing..

Just heard on CNN

"North Korea will ignite war at any cost."
"North Korea threatens that if there is a war, it is going to be nuclear, and it wont be limited to the Korean Peninsula"

scary

Thanks for all of the continuos updates. I've been trying to see if North Korea has been posturing and positioning units in place themselves. The alert on Diego Garcia makes me think that the South and US are heeding NK's retaliation threat.

Should be about 5 mins away now.

Dont know if anyone has already posted this but it's interesting to see just how wide a range of land they can target using just their artillery and rockets:

Lets hope that if it does kick off, Seoul isn't targeted.

I think they are saving the nuke trump card if regime change is imminent, but I could see a blockade of Japan via submarine if it were to escalate beyond the Koreas.

Should be starting any minute now.

Is it me or CNN just said ``we could easily be at WW3 tomorrow``? When MSM starts talking like that, it scares me.

South Korea switches on DMZ floodlight tower

The military has decided to switch on a floodlight tower at Aegibong Peak on the western frontline for the first time in seven years, amid fears that the North is getting ready to shoot at the contraption.

"We've recently detected signs of the North Korean military watching the tower" at the mouth of the Han River in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province "as if they are preparing to shoot at it," a government source said Sunday.
