So, this topic came about yesterday evening in a talk with my mother. She is not a Conspiracy Theorist, and truth-be-told she is an average lady from a small town with a poor upbringing and a high school education. She is a great lady with a lot of input and some good common sense solutions to life.

Anyhow, she asks me if I am worried about the new TSA procedures, and I tell her NO. She asks if I am worried about the economy, and I tell her of course I am, but things have been getting a little better for my family this fall. She tells me they are selling a lot of Gulf Shrimp up in the Midwest, and I tell her not to eat it. She asks why I think the Press and the Government would be covering up the health concerns, and I tell her it is the typical economic concern and they have to protect the commerce on the Gulf Coast (where I live).

So, after all those quick discussions, she says, "You know, it must be coming." I was a little confused. She says, "All of this will finally lead to the Mark of the Beast. You won't be able to fly, or bank, or buy things, or advertise, or come and go from the country. They have finally just about got us there. In another couple of years, people will be begging for the Mark!"

WOWOWOWOWOW!!

Mom is right!
Skip all the intrusive TSA stuff and scanners if you have the proper credentials and "Mark." Avoid all the lengthy banking applications and restrictions and fees if you have the proper credentials and the "Mark." Skip all the Healthcare fiasco if you have the proper credentials and the "Mark." Get VIP treatment at the grocery store if you have been preapproved, signed up, and have the proper "Mark." I could go on and on. All the pieces are there!

Today on ATS there are threads like this:
TSA: Birth of a Monster
Why They're really groping us.
Live Without the Mark
Online Campaign for Mass Cash Withdrawal
Secret Trigger and Plan for Domestic Military Crackdown
Dollar Should be Replaced

I am not a believer in FEMA Camps, or the related Railway cars, I don't like Jesse Ventura's new show (although I like Jesse). I don't care if some security guy wants to lift my sack to sniff around for explosives behind it, I don't think we will ever organize enough to actually bring down the banking cartel, etc., etc.

I do believe in our Rights as Humans and Citizens! I do believe in the necessity to stay armed and able to defend against a repressive government. I also do think.........ITS TOO LATE!

I believe my mother is right! I believe before my 4 year old is out of High School, people will be volunteering to get the Mark! The ones that aren't volunteering will be guilt-tripped into getting it for their kids, and within a generation or two it will be entirely necessary to function in this society!

THIS POST from February of this year shows how we have naturally progressed to this point, and even without a true Conspiracy, it is still inevitable. If there is a conspiracy behind it, then we are really, really in deep by now!

Here are the pieces, and they are just waiting to be connected:
Credit Bureau Records
Insurance Bureau Records
Criminal Record Databases
Driving Record Databases
Social Security Databases
Medical History Databases (including important allergy information!)
Health Insurance Records
Passport and Travel log Databases
Tax Record Histories and Databases
Current Banking Accounts and Installment Loans
Email Communications
Education Records

These things are already in existence, we are already used to supplying the information, and we are already used to the invasive, embarrassing, and cumbersome tasks associated with them.

Imagine the future (I'm against it, but this is how it will be marketed!), Imagine the future where all of these databases are linked, software flags and corrects errors or redundancies, it is portable, it is available immediately, and it serves to make your life easier!

1) Imagine the Doctor scanning the Mark and showing all your prescriptions to avoid interactions, he sees your Health Insurance, your income, your credit record, your medical history, and he makes a recommendation for personalized treatment and how to get it paid for. It is instant. Instantly the new Socialist Healthcare Plan and your private Insurance company and your employer and your healthcare provider collaborate via software, the recommendation is approved, you get your treatment, you never see the true cost, there is no billing fraud, and you are on your way!

2) Imagine, you call a Realtor to look at a House. They scan your Mark. They see every previous home, the style, the neighborhood, they see your credit, your income, your health record, your familial status, and their software preapproves your for a range of mortgages and matches you to a range of neighborhoods and homes and you make your purchase and close the deal the same day!

3) Imagine Judge Dredd! An officer pulls you over, he knows your tax returns, your driving record, your marital status, your health status, any special considerations, your background, your job history, he knows how to approach you and deal with you immediately!

Most Importantly……….Imagine………………..
Having the Mark = Easy living! Banking, job hunts, VIP at the store, everything automated, everything just happens around you with little or no input. No security lines, no patdowns, no banking fees, no checkout lines, no paperwork with your insurance company, no filling out a job application or mortgage application, no renewing licenses, everything automated and quick and error-free!

VS.

Not having the Mark = strip searches, detainment, life as a second-class citizen! Bartering for basic necessities, avoiding any public buildings, avoiding all authorities, difficult travel, violent encounters, etc., etc.!

We are there! The TSA moves are the last domino to fall into place. Sit back and watch all the political fallout and the “Solution” that comes about!

One Solution solves all the current hot issues. The Mark, and the Software associated with it, can fix the banking industry, the credit industry, the currency fluctuations, the security risks, the Immigration problems, Healthcare Issues, Identity Theft, and just about everything else that the press is harping on at this moment in history! All we have to do is give up our privacy and our individuality and everything gets better, or we can stand on our principles, outdated voodoo, and mentally disturbed conspiracy theories and make things harder on ourselves and our children.

Conform now.

Disclaimer:
Obvious sarcasm in the end; please do not conform! I will fight, and I will lead my young boys down the hard road. Maybe it won't be their generation, maybe it will be the next, but it is coming, I pray my boys are raised with the fortitude to endure it now, or endure it for their children later. I pray we all choose the rockier path that maintains our individuality, integrity, and morals vs. the path of a slave.

whoa, I didn't even think of it like that. You are so on to something, why else would they be gathering all of this information? A lot of Government Agencies in DOI and USDA are consolidating all of their data into centralized databases in Kansas City, MO for what they claim is quality control and better management, but, from a regional/local enduser perspective, the process is creating more problems for individuals responsible for maintaining the data. I find it interesting, that, all of a sudden, initiatives are being passed left and right towards the merging of information, into One Source.

yeah, it is far too late, if we revolt now, concentration camps for us.
where to go?
what to do?

I have plenty of "marks" on me and all were done with my consent although knowing what I know now realize they allow me to be easily targeted. Oh well.

In regards to THE mark, well that will be up to each individual. I will absolutely not take it regardless of the personal cost to me.

Americans have become complacent, apathetic, lethargic, lazy, ENSLAVED....I could go on but I think my point has been made.

I follow your logic and do see how the current trends regarding control of people via commerce is pushing in the direction that simply taking a mark would allow you to move to the head of the line and avoid all of the oppressive crap that is currently being fomented on the citizenry.

I made the mistake of watching Braveheart for the umpteenth time last evening so could still have the remnants of the blood that was boiling while watching. However, I am not the subject, slave nor serf of any individual nor government as much as those believing I am would like to think. What I find infuriating are the lower level minions who uphold such oppression because they aren't worth the confrontation.

Finding a way to strike the head of the issue is the only way to alleviate the issue. Dealing with the pawns who have sold out to enforce this push towards eventual and complete subjugation only wastes the time and energy required to get to the root problem.

I'm rambling but have said my piece. May those wishing to force their mark upon me rest in piece(s).

I do not want to believe it is to late- I have young children ---
I agree with you - except - I think we still have time to change the future

I just think "we" like minded individuals to organize - the Tea Party did it - I was there (they screwed up when they hooked up with the Republicans in an attempt to change their party - chances are it is a road to nowhere)

It needs to start with a date in multiple locations around the US - the courthouses worked - I was there -

I cannot just go along with the progression of things - I have sworn to myself that I will choose the harder route- I will not accept the Mark - I will be an outcast from society - I took an oath to uphold the US and Texas constitutions when I entered the practice of law and I feel that our current puppets are destroying us.

Also there need to be an outreach to others who havent found there way here yet -
Leadership - local and national levels
Organizing
Planning
Fundraising
Need some techies for web --- until they implement some cybersecurity which shuts it down : )

And worse yet, not enough people would be willing to revolt with you! All of the proposals will be marketed as "solutions" to current problems! People will love them! They make us so uncomfortable, nervous, down-trodden that we are ready to revolt, and then they propose all these wonderful solutions! Voluntary at first of course. Just like direct deposit and debit cards were voluntary in the beginning, and now they are required for most jobs! My employer will not write paper checks. If you can't get a bank account, then you have to go to GreenDot.com or some other equivalent site. There is no procedure for a paper check!

People are panicking about the Healthcare Bill, so the new people come into office and they find some ways to "fix" it, and all we have to do is sign up and let them connect it to our other accounts.

People are panicking about the TSA troubles, so someone will come along and offer the "solution" of getting "pre-screened." Get an upgraded passport with credentials and skip the scanners and patdowns. Just connect it to your other accounts so the can be certain of your identity and background.

People are panicking about the economy and the Dollar collapsing. No problem, they have the "shadow bailouts" of printing more money, they have the backdoor dealings of buying up other currencies, and eventually they will propose the "solution" of a generic Electronic currency!

We are ohhhhhh so close already!

I have young children too. 4 year old and 3 year old...both boys! I want the best for them, and it will be harder and harder to provide it without conforming. Nobody will ever make me take the Mark, but what if it was a requirement to get my kid a critical surgery? Would I let them die? What if it becomes routine at birth? I didn't have a Social Security number until I got my first job at 15, but my two sons got one at Birth! They came and visited us in the Room the day they were born!

I still get paper checks from my clients but have to use a bank to cash them. I learned long ago to pull out every bit of cash not required to pay the bills.

I think there are far more people ready to revolt than you think but also think there are far less than are needed.

You are spot on regarding how things begin as voluntary and then seemingly become the norm regardless of whether you prefer it that way. Incrementalism has been the choice du jour once it was obvious that people wouldn't just take an in your face approach.

I do think the in your face approach is now being utilized due to the large number of people waking to the impending threat perceived and the backlash against the TSA is proof that there are still some who say F you to being herded like cattle.

Make no mistake, we live not only in interesting times but also historic times. The decisions we make over the next couple of years will determine whether we live as free men or as subjects.

I am just glad i will never bring anyone into this world.

But the best thing the ptb ever did, was the mobile phones. They got past everyone with it, and it radiated into sheep virtually, with no strength in mind anymore.

The mobile phones got you people, and every one took it as it was easy and on the go sort of thing.

Its made you all into sheep virtually. They picked a certain type of radiation that has made all people soft in the mind.

As far as i am concerned it ended as soon as everyone took that into there posession, and the ptb have the ultimate weapon to use against anyone they want.

Nice OP. Star and flag for you.

It's only a matter of time before the majority will be clamouring for THE MARK. Those that don't get it will be ostracized from the greater community and need to get engaged with that small group who defy it. There will be those who do, just like the ones who already are divorced from modern ways today. Think Amish.

What you'd have to give up in order to be accepted into a group like that, I doubt many could stomach it.

To not join such a group would have most scrabbling in dumpsters and living under bridges within months.

Okay here is the deal - people may have to give up life - I am not saying that I want that for my children

But here is the THEME - of the campaign -- Getting Back to Basics - The holy grail of the United States - our Bill of Rights - that was it - that was all we ever needed - personal freedom and personal responsibility -

People just have to take back our government- call for the repeal of the laws and amendments that step beyond that which was initially intended - Fear and laziness is what holds us back - - I would rather TRY than to wait and see - I do not want to be a slave of the system - and we were never meant to be - GOD GAVE US FREE WILL

LOL, as are mine. Mine are only visible when I wish them to be. When I'm on my Harley or at the pool/beach they are visible.

When I go to work even in a short sleeved polo, you'd never know they were there. I didn't do so as a promise but merely as what I considered to be a good practice for business.

Nothing like having someone come in for an interview with marks on their necks, forearms etc. I don't hold it personally against anyone since to do so would be hypocritical but do wonder about their judgment for not having thought in advance about that skull or creeping vine on their neck and how it could potentially affect their future employment situation.

I had never intended to have children, had made my position clear to her mother and her mother and I agreed we wouldn't...yet fate saw otherwise. I can tell you that having a child changes your life in many ways and in mine it was certainly for the better. Without getting all emotional and teary eyed I can say without a doubt that I am grateful for the card I was dealt and wouldn't trade her for anything. I often wonder if I'd be alive if not for the thought that there is someone who counts on me to be her daddy and I can't let her down.

LOL!

I always wanted to have kids, didn't figure it was that big of a deal really, just part of life, never put a lot of thought into it, until my wife told me she was pregnant. Changed everything, but even then, I thought I would still be the same person, I didn't understand how people's whole lives could change. I wasn't going to change.....until he was born! WOW! (Not the Childbirth, that wasn't WOW, that was OOOOOO!) Having a child to be responsible for and love and watch them learn and grow is an amazing thing. In the short 4 years I have had children, I have become an entirely different person, and all for the better!

Now, my Dad asked me this very question from this OP. He said, "Son, are you sure you want to bring a child into this crazy world? Aren't you scared?"

Well, I wasn't scared, but I should have been. BUT, I told him this: Someone has to do it! He raised me right, and I was going to raise my kids right, and if the world was ever going to get better, or if it was going to survive and rebuild after getting worse, then people like me needed to have kids, raise them up, and prepare them for whatever might come along! I hope they don't have to suffer, but I know they will be ready and able to put their mark on the world if the time comes!

We had different outlooks on having children but came to the same conclusion upon actually having them. They change your life and often for the better.

There are MANY things in my life I regret and would love to change but my daughter is NOT one of them. I am known for how pissy I get if things don't go according to a plan/itinerary so you can imagine what it was like to find out I was going to be a dad when that was completely out of the question and agreed upon!

OK, back on topic since we have diverted to the greatness that is fatherhood, (and it's pretty GD great!), I pity any man who thinks they will place a mark on my child without her consent until she is of age to understand the ramifications of her decision.

Seeing the TSA goons feeling up kids really makes me wonder what happened to fathers, dads, daddys in this country???? I'm telling you, any man who touches my little girl inappropriately will require surgery regardless of how much time I have to spend behind bars. She will know that daddy was there to protect her and will understand that men in uniforms with badges are there to subvert her/our rights.

Being in my 50's , I can Honestly say I have had a pretty good life so far in America , and if Worse comes to Worse , I will just sit back and reflect on the Words of that Noble American Patriot Patrick Henry ..." Give Me Liberty , Or Give Me Death ! " I do not think I could bear living in a World Without it , and would Gladly Die trying to Preserve it for my Fellow Man . I Really mean that , and I Hope and Pray others might take it to Heart considering those who would have to Live in a Nightmare World after we are Gone.......

My daughter and I have had this discussion. I have made it clear to her that someday I may be gone earlier than we'd both like but my doing so is my way of trying to give her a better life as well as any children she has one day. I don't want to die nor do I want to miss bouncing a grandkid on my knee or taking pictures of them sitting on the back of my Harley.

At the same time, I am not going to allow them to be subjugated by a criminal cabal who sees them as nothing more than fodder for activities that are beyond unconstitutional and need to be stopped by whatever means necessary.

That made no sense whatsoever so if you'd be kind enough to elucidate, please do.

If that was an attempt at humor regarding what happens when a male and female come together, thanks for the tongue in cheek humor. I am quite familiar and measures were taken. No measure is 100% effective so things are as they are.

At least your post was on topic........

I almost agree with you. Each day that goes by I think it is closer and closer to being "too late". I don't think we are there yet though and ultimately i don't think it will ever be impossible for the people to wrestle power from the hands of the their governments. However it becomes increasingly difficult and painful to do so as we sink deeper towards the only possible outcome of these trends, a Dystopian Society.

You'll have what you need to live, at least, because the corporations and government can't make money without you (thus they have no basis for their power). You'll be told your opinions matter, told that the system is just keeping you safe.. You'll also be monitored 24 hours a day through microphones, cameras and a range of other sensors and programs that gather data on every single move you make and every word you say.

In fact, if you own certain products or use certain services I am almost 100% sure it already happening. I don't want to elaborate on that atm.

However, at any given moment, the pure mass of the citizenry can destroy it all if it so chooses.

That just a fundamental reality of governance. The few attempt to control the many, but short of destroying the very thing they seek to control, they can not absolutely force the people to behave in any certain manner. If we all decided that we wouldn't go to work, no matter what, or pay our taxes, no matter what, it would all come tumbling down.

What we are seeing is the new form of totalitarianism emerging. An attempt to convince the people that they WANT to be prisoners by clouding the jail that is being built around them with visions of safety and comfort.

What scares me is that there does not seem to be anywhere to flee to.

MOOOO!!!!
