It's sad. I remember when you could smoke on airplanes and there were no security checkpoints and anyone without a ticket could come sit with you at the gate while you were waiting for your flight.

Don't get used to anything; not airport rapedowns, body scanners, rude cops etc, etc, I say that the only vote you have left is with your dollars. Quit buying #. Take your money out of the bank and use money orders; its cheaper! Don't buy anything you don't need. Put pressure on these corporations. They only exist because we buy their poisoned Chinese goods.

It's never been about security.

If it was about security we would have locked down the borders and initiated a profiling program targeted at likely suspects based on their travel histories and affiliations, after all - they know who is coming to the airport to fly based on ticket purchses.

It has always been about control.

And yes the media have been covering it - but not without the specific caveat that the procedures will stand, regardless of public outcry, costs or inefficiencies.

I think this is just a way for people to accept another method of control, something people don't accept easily..Iris scans and being fingerprinted. Look up the Clear Program. This is just a way for TPTB to make more money and implement the worst kind of monitoring. And maybe the next program is being chipped.

Yes you are right, the manipulation of the masses and using fear mongering along with outraged at the way people are been treated is to push full ahead the scanners on everybody and people will accept it with no conditions.

People are so manipulated by propaganda that they have fail to understand that we don't need scanners and neither pad downs, but money interest wants those scanners and profit for it, already the pilots got away from getting scan all the time, their reason "the cancer radiation link", they got it right, but the rest of the population have not clue that the worst is to come "cancer incidents on the rise due to the scanners and the bombarding of radiation on humans" completely unnecessary but is all for profits.

Wake up Americans is not just about liberties is about safety and the health of our children soon to become the third biggest trend in the nation, after Obesity and diabetes

why dont we just use the scanner? for me its not the radiation its my rights. i dont use the scanner for the same reason i dont let the police in without a warrant, search my car without one etc. i stopped flying years ago for the same reason. and the situation just keep getting worse. soon we will have these scanners or something like it or worse just to enter parts of town where work or shopping is. and the argument will be that those areas are targets and this works for the planes, and look how many willingly use those. i dont see how a handful of guys with box cutters calls for this. i dont have a problem with upping security where it will help, securing the pilots, trained security/ law enforcement on hand. but the checks do nothing in my opinion. 9 years with nothing to show for it. i dont agree with the argument of "see its working it has deterred terrorists from trying" the general population are willfully giving up their rights in my opinion and someone is willing to take them.

i do agree with alot of what was said before in this thread, the media will hype anything up and loves to jump on messed up things. and there is definatly allot of money involved also.

kind of a rant, but it was asked why we dont just use the scanners and all i saw as a response was radiation. which i agree i dont need another source bombarding me, i have plenty in this day and age, but that isnt my main complaint and thought it should be said.

And it's only a matter of time before you have to go through a body scanner and or pat down to go into a government building, a bus or train depot.........it's all about control and conditioning the average person to accept they are going to be totally controlled and monitored.


Fences going up (like the Berlin Wall)

Talk of Internet Freedom being curtailed

I don't use a cell..............BTW, did you know that with a cell phone and GPS system can be used both ways. Yes it can "connect you" but it can also be used to track your every movement.

Another way we are being controlled, tracked and monitored.

WTF...........Muslim women may be exempt but the videos above show that that old man, young boy, cancer patient and little girl weren't exempt............and they weren't Muslim or Middle Eastern

Napolitano was asked by reporters whether Muslim women wearing hijabs would be subjected to the new full body scans and pat downs before boarding planes.

‘Big Sis’ was noncommittal at the time and indicated that the TSA would be making “adjustments” and that there would be “more to come” on the issue.

Now it seems that Homeland Security is genuinely considering giving Muslim women a pass when it comes to the new measures. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) complained to the government that intrusive full-body scans and pat downs were contrary to their religious sensibilities and Muslim women should not be subjected to these new measures. The Muslim organization is asking the government to allow Muslim women to pat themselves down as an alternative.

Meanwhile CAIR is advising Muslim women wearing religious head covers known as hijabs to reject full-body checks before boarding planes and to demand to see supervisors if required by TSA agents to comply.

Response: You have got to be kidding! This is taking ‘political correctness’ about as far as it can go.

All Americans are now being subjected to intrusive inspections before boarding planes because some radical Muslims crashed planes on 9/11. But now Muslim women should get a pass while everyone must go through it all? This makes no sense. Plus it is down right discrimination against women of other religions or no religion at all.

If this happens, then all al Qaeda will need to do is recruit Muslim women wearing hijabs in the future. In fact they are already using young women as suicide bombers in Iraq and Palestine

I'm sure totalitarism existed in Ancient Egypt, but disgruntled North Africans and Israelites flying large passenger missles into population centers was not part of their reality and as such subjecting the North Africans, Israelites and the other people of the Kingdom to electronic searches was not exactly within their purview. Nevertheless, the slaves and lower classes were certainly treated in ways that were controling, just by other methods to match the chaos of that period.

I disagree that this is to prepare us for martial law. I suspect they are being even more devious; They WANT us to PROTEST the scanners and pat downs, and they WANT US TO PREVAIL. This will set the stage for ACT IV.

ACT I. Impose a policy of objectionable body scans and pat-downs.
ACT II. People will protest and resist.
ACT III. The will of the people prevails, and the security measures are scaled back.
ACT IV. A City (or cities) are hit in a horrific attack that will make 9/11 pale in comparison. The attackers will have carried the explosives under their clothing.
ACT V. People will conclude that opposing the security measures was a HUGE, stupid mistake. They will not do that again, and in fact, THE PEOPLE DEMAND even more intrusive, comprehensive security measures.
ACT VI. The government implements new, highly intrusive security measures. Microchips anyone?
ACT VII. The people shout down anyone opposing the new security measures.
ACT VIII. ???

The NWO will keep getting away with this stuff as long as people keep putting expedience above principle. I will never fly again if this keeps up. I know some people have to for work and all, but try to avoid flying as much as possible, it is the only way to send a message. If I absolutley had to fly I would make sure to eat a lot of chili the day before or not shower, I want to make it as unpleasant for the screener as they are for me.
