Project "Popeye"

Has anyone ever heard of this top secret military program used during the vietnam war???....I was so surprised to hear about this project in my climatology class and had to look into it deeper. Maybe someone has heard of this before and can help find more info. I found this website which explains it a little.

We talked about how the US army wanted to cause mudslides and stuff like that on the Vietnamese side so that their transport routes would be cut off. This was all acheived through "cloud seeding". This is where u stimulate cloud formation and eventually rain, through depositing a chemical in the air that casued water vapour to condense. Supposedly it back fired on the US and gave the advantage to the NVA. Because of this they stopped using it.
i cant imagine how many people got slaughtered becasue of some experiement. I bet u those soldiers didnt even know wat was coming.
