Why do women start looking masculine as they age?

My grandmother looks like Ben Franklin now , she was fine as hell back in the day


Women take androgyny to a whole another level my friends, you don't see men looking more feminine as they age.

So what's going on? I feel I may not get married over this scary fact.

I would hate to turn 50 and my wife starts looking like some founder of America or the Grinch that stole Christmas

If they care about their appearance they won 't let it happen...

Although when my wife turns 40, I'm trading her for two 20 year olds!

It has to do with decreased estrogen levels as their bodies stop producing hormones. One lady I know no longer produces any hormones on her own and is completely reliant on synthetic hormone treatment to maintain her femininity.

its ok, you wll end up looking like santa. welcome to biology, where your ears/nose never stop growing. and what happens when you put a larger nose and ears even on an 18 year old girl? she starts to look more manly. you add wrinkles, and crows feet, change in skin tone, the development of facial hair (or just refuse to care about it anymore) and they begin to lose hair, or have it thin and change color. think all of that might have an affect? common sense here

The hormones answer is correct.

- last time I checked a woman doesn't exist for the pure entertainment or seduction of men - we do produce children, care for your offspring and basically keep a family functioning

I think that you should read the post on the traditional family (maybe N/A to you)

maybe you should mature a bit and realize that life does not revolve round you and your erection

Find a gal whom you can get along with the rest of your life and don't worry about what "both" of you is going to look like when you grow old. When it happens she'll still look good to you and you'll look good to her as long as love stays in blooom and that is what you want to keep for each other to the end.

If you turn 50, after having been happily married to a woman for like, 18 to 20 or even 30 years, she is going to be beautiful to you, even though she may look a little more like Billy Bob than Angelina, consider yourself very fortunate for having had so many happy years with someone you really love.

I'm surprised at the superficiality of the posters here. I mean, if you don't love a person, or really care about a person other than the way she looks, then why marry her? Buy a plastic doll. It would be much better suited for your mentality, emotionality, and maturity level anyway.
