No, what I said is exactly right. You cannot delete a profile once it is created here, regardless of level of butt-hurtitude.

you tried not turning up? for how long? a day? or you have previous account you want deleted?

best story about deleting member, was the whispers in the dark, net chicken whole fiasco... i believe..
maybe its not netchicken... i forget and phone browsers suck

Well.. I get slowly Headache.
First of course you can quit a member ship, Above Top Secret is not the Sicilian Mafia. The question is how to do that.. and its seems everyone has not an Idea.. I'm asking for because its a semantic thought! (from an Programmer's viewpoint). Other people can use my Nick, the server has more space.. and the MySQL database has no dead accounts any more.

Wrong. Your reasons are totally relevant. We don't need to know, but the TAN management does.

In the site's Terms and Conditions -- there's a link to them on every page -- it says in section 15m:

15m.) Termination: In the event your account or access privileges are terminated for any reason, your information and Posts will not be removed unless there is a violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Terms and Conditions of Membership. Requests for voluntary "account deletion" and removal of your content will not be honored without a reasonable reason, provided in writing, to TAN.

So, you need to contact TAN via their "Contact Us" link. This allows you to send them an Email. The link is also shown on every page. Give a "reasonable reason" why you want your account deleted and if they choose, they can delete your account.

Unbelievable hahaha..aaah what is that? 100% Mafia methods.. . I had a own Forum.. maintained with Joomla and everyone has the option to quit an account because in my country its not legal to do that.

You can only stop coming to the site.

You can go to your profile and remove all information about yourself if you have created one.

There are tens of thousands of people who have created member accounts and never posted even one time.

There are just as many who have never came back after a period of time.

ATS depends on new members just to stay viable.

If ATS stopped excepting new members it would just peter out.
