I think people, like Dan, may defend the president of Iran because "he speaks up" or doesn't "take sh*t." What Dan and others don't realize is that sometimes...that doesn't mean that rebellious figure has the best intentions..especially when they are guilty of murdering those who don't fit their ideologies. We should never support dictators and I simply don't understand why some on ATS do...

Don't forget, this goes with Any religious controlled states. The Middle East is controlled by Religion...sadly, some folks want the United States to be the same way...except with Christianity.

Keep religious out of politics.

I find it hilarious that the first nuclear war to break out on this planet is likely to happen between Jews and Muslims. Does it get anymore stupid then this? No reason for Iran to have nuclear weapons, and Israel either.

Oozy: more Islamophobia here. Note that the negative stereotypes of Iran that Canadians are familiar with are all related to Islamic customs. You may have also noticed that Americans and Canadians rarely ever have negative stereotypes of uniquely Iranian customs. They certainly are not Iranophobic!

The laws in Canada tend to become progressively more liberal and humanist, despite a few popular and oppressive government policies. The public will become more welcoming of the Muslims in time, even though the monarchy is already prepared to treat Muslims as equals. The Queen's international agenda is implemented by the loyal officers in her civil services, independently of the Parliament's desires.

Canada is a beautiful country and its people are beautiful citizens.

Canada will never hurt a religion.

Taking a look at your posts, you won't be happy till Canada is a Islamic state. Forget about adapting to other cultures, we have to adapt to the Muslim way of life completely - and don't dare say one word negative towards Islam.....

Canadians do accept Muslim culture, for the most part. Do you expect everyone to get along, all the time? But I forget, most of us Canadians are ignorant.
