And when it comes to private corporations lobbying with the dirty money in Washington the government oversee agencies tend to look the other way, remember the financial?

No, my friend private companies with their hire goons will create another can of worms in an already dissatisfy nation of people.

This should all be about market competition instead of overstuffed govt. bureaucracies. No one is calling for the elimination of the TSA. However, if airports use the services of private contractors the TSA will still be involved in the contractor selection process and contractors will have to follow TSA guidelines. (guidelines that could use some improvement).

Competition creates accountability and efficiencies in business. It provides incentive to succeed and to satisfy your customers. Let them all work together in the competing market and see what happens. If a contractor fails to meet expectations, you hire a new contractor to hopefully do a better job. Right now it is just the bloated TSA going through the motions with many screeners on a power trip and they are accountable to no one at the local airport level. They all answer to a desk jockey in DC. The airports need more autonomy and control over the process especially when it comes to customer service issues.

San Francisco International airport has successfully used private screeners since the creation of the TSA. Here is a little bit about San Fran.
