In the first picture, is that line with off shoots behind the rover what you are referring to as a road? Also, is that a creek of some sort running vertical in the picture? It appears that if that is a road and the other a creek, they may intersect out of view. Am I trying to make something out of nothing. Also, was this shot taken from an elevated point?

Hi Shechaiyah,

Nice collection !! I'll be glad to give you some space on my FTP. You can send the files to me in a single or multiple .zip files and I and put them on my FTP so everyone can download them
and share their input on some of the pictures.

Cheers !

Marc

Hi, I'd like to know more about that second pic you posted, the Mars one.
And if you have details about it / more, with better definition ?
Thx.

Namaste, I'm not going to do that because I already have Slide, Facebook and Picasa accounts.

But those are photos I processed some time ago; and what I'm doing here is going for NEW ONES.

There is a steep learning curve to this work, and the new work that I do now is much better than the old work I did then. I'll have another Mars photo for this thread, by this afternoon. I have another one in mind of the Ultreya plateau because Rover Spirit really made the rounds there and we have a lot of grist to work from.

Thanks for your interest in this topic.

Hi Shechaiyah, I have some Mars photos that will knock your socks off and you are just the person I need to get with to enhance these photos that were presented to the public by a NASA employee. I am 100% positive life exists on Mars and would go on a no return flight and would walk out of the space craft with out a helmet that is how sure I am. ^Y^

I have a question, or maybe it's an issue.

I am a retired Xerox digital image repro technician and trainer, a retired old lady.

What I have been doing for four years is look at NASA photos to identify faults: skew, aspect ratio defects [due to pitch, roll and yaw of moving camereas]; inverts, extreme and undeveloped contrast; false hues, paint-overs and occultation [which is a software routine].

I have tens of thousands of NASA photos scrutinized and "corrected," the way I used to "fix" my copier customers' copies. I have photos of Venus, our Moon, Mars and Mars' moons, Jupiter's Moons, Saturn and Saturn's Moons, and Asteroids.

Or will I get banned for showing up with these photos which now have greater detail than their NASA equivalents. Yes, I provide SOURCE PHOTO links.

Thank you for your advice and consideration.

Shechaiyah

Hi and welcome. One thing is for sure, you have come to the right place to share your work. Ats has a massive archive of anomalies and information (if you dig deep) and most of your pictures have probably already been scrutinized. I am looking forward to seeing your "corrected" photo's. You wont get banned for revealing the truth, but, be ready to answer to certain members on here, i have seen posters ripped to shreds and left in the gutter on here, I'm not joking!

What shall I bring here for people to see?

I would start with 'your' favorite pictures and go from there..Thanks

I have two servers I use, so thank you for your offer; but unless my host crashes completely, I don't require your services.

On the other hand, because NASA photos have NO copyright, and I place no copyright restrictions on my work [because my work is always IN PROGRESS and I'm always doing new versions], you are free to take whatever photo interests you and place it wherever you wish.

I would like people to know that Mars and our Moon are not hostile desolate places, by definition.

Smokersroom, yes, that is one of my personal [paid for] sites, and those are the latest versions of the NASA photos [uncopyrighted] which I have rendered and filed there.

You are free to take whatever interests you. If you can do better than I do, I would like to see your renditions.

Howzzat? I want the information to get out that the whole solar system is full of life and experience.

I have learned not to tell people what I see; I want everybody to look and see for themselves; and this means, I have to do the work, better and better.

This is one of my favorite Mars panoramas, and I do not like the fact it has to be shown as an external link and it's not nicely spread out for you. But oh well.

I'm redoing this photo I've redone several times before; I originally found it several years ago on Keith Laney's web-site but I have not been able to duplicate the find in NASA's databases. I believe this is a 2004 photo, and it is of the Ultreya Homeplate Mountain [which has a military base underground, with three entrances on the south right side and two on the north left side by Husband Hill, where the dam and spillway are]. Yes, I've gotten to know this area pretty well thanks to the Spirit Rover's travels. McMurdo is to your left, and what they call "East Hills" is on the farside approach, the other side, where water from the Husband Hill DAM spreads out into a river-creek lined with stones, probably the floor of what once was a large sea but now the sea is gone.

Lumps and bumps and shadows of foreground faces reveal that the camera lens was set to "far" or "infinite." This is a heavily populated area, and everybody wears a hat. I guess that's how people identify each other, by what head covering you wear. There are turbans, head-dresses like Egyptian, burkas for women, robes and pantaloons underneath. The people working on that road crew are what we would label as "Asian," and architecture is camouflaged completely under a common ground-dirt-colored roof. This is why astronomers see no civil society on Mars as we would expect it to look; because they don't build the way we build, for display as autonomous privately-owned properties.

This photo as I got it from Keith was 7800 pixels in width, and by coalescing forms into recognizable shapes, I've got it down to 720 by 240, a common set of dimensions. NASA blows up their panoramas so the details get blown out of shape. That's the practice.

I do not know, I do not have a map. Google Earth does not show anybody where "Ultreya" or "Homeplate" or "East Hills" or "Husband Hill" or "McMurdo" IS. Apparently there is also a policy to keep us from knowing the geography of Mars as that information is never included in Google Mars nor in the Rovers' data.

Or maybe I'm just too stupid or too lazy or ditzy to find what I'm looking for. Duh.

So...
are you positing that there are multiple intelligent species on Mars? You refer to 'they" call it Husband Hill. Who are "they"?
Any back-up sort of proof for this?

btw if this post was perceived as rude, such is the new ATS outlook then.

NASA calls "Husband Hill" by its name, after an honored staff member.

NASA may or may not know what the correct name of any location or physical feature actually is.

I have a place where I already store photos of hominids and humans on Mars. It is here:

People of Mars Album

Since you seem to be in a hurry. At the rate of two newly rendered photos per day, it will take quite a while to build up a gallery here of Mars photos that can be said to depict people.

The reason, the f-stop on Rover cameras is set to "infinite distance," and people if they exist and are mobile, will come right up to the Rover. But they will not be seen by the camera except as lumps, bumps and shadows; so the only hominids that actually show and get focused on are in the mid- and background areas, less distinct and provable.

And that's just how it is. I can't FIX 72 pixels per inch into excellent resolution, no matter what I do.

Understand?

Ok, if there are 40,000+ photos, can you please PLEASE PLEASE post at least 100 per day somewhere for us to see on the internet. Seriously, I hope you do not get a visit from government officials tonight. It floods on Mars? There is that much water in the atmoshpere that gets picked up from polar cap condensation? I love the picts so far...but 2 picts a day is not going to cut it. I want some more meat and potatoes please. How can you have any pudding if you dont eat your meat?

No, what I have committed to doing is to bring here TWO FRESH RENDITIONS of current NASA Mars, Moon and other Planetary photos each day. That is all I have committed to.

I do not work for you. I am not your servant, and my time is valuable to me.

Thank you for the external links and use of NASA pictures that you have rendered. I am interested in #6 so far. Do you think that people are laying around on the rocks of Mars? Or do you think that these are lifeless bodies, like some sort of burial field. I was thinking that maybe if they (Martians) lived underground, that they may then send the dead to the outer layer of the planet in a ritual that would be opposite of what some religions here on Earth do. ..maybe i am jumping ahead, but looks like bodies in a field that you have outlined to me, and what better way to send ones spirit back home than to leave it out on top of land, since they are living somewhat underground as I have heard in other theories. I really like John Lears stories of Mars, which when you said that they have different building structures that sort of corolates to his stories of a civilization mostly beneath the surface (being that the surface would be thier roofs). Also, what is the picture of #10? Is that a picture of a martian cactus? Would make sense that that kind of vegitation would be growing on a dry surface with limited water. BTW OFF TOPIC...is there a spellcheck on this website we can use? I have fat fingers and slow brain cells in the evening. Back to the picts...another night of no sleep. I like being able to see these picts with no eerie/citchy music behind them! Can I be the first one to name the cactus...what we are seeinfg here is an ancient Napotian Cacti...lol..im no botonist but I would like to see some of that martian greenery....cheers and thanks again these picts are saweet.
