For the occaisional traveller, I can see how this would be an inconvenience, and tend to get stress about it. But next time you're in the queue
waiting to go through security, take a look at the scruffily dressed guys strangely carrying an expensive pull along computer case. these are the guys
who like myself do this far too often than is good for their sanity.
I really do not know what all the hoo haa is about. really I don't.
You can scream and shout, and argue and complian. Or.. you can act like an adult, and just get on with it. Nothing that you or anyone else can say
will make them change the rules.
The best thing i could say is that the security checks are moved from one central point to gate checks like in Europe. this way with the "enhanced"
security measures, at least the waiting time is reduced. that way you are less stressed, because you know you will not miss the flight if the TSA arse
is slow. as you will already be at the gate.
This is one battle we lost against the NWO, so if you want to travel, just get on with it.
I can be in and out of security with bag check and pat down in 120 seconds.
if you kick off, you will be there for a lot longer and will NOT win! and possibly have the airline refuse carriage.
