I' not disputing that a private company can run a business as they see fit within the laws of the country it is set up in. What I am trying to say is that at the end of the day, it is the companies that need to bend to the needs of the customer, not the other way around. It's common to hear people say things like "but I'm not allowed", "they told me I have to do this in order..." or "I lose this if I don't do that..." when describing their interactions with a company that provides a service they require.

Why does the average customer who does not require special treatment have to overcome so many obstacles to receive the service they are after? People tend to forget that without customers, companies would cease to exist; without companies people still exist.
