2 Ufo pictures taken in Leeds U.K 13-11-10

I see what you mean in relation to the view, It does look odd, Leeds has steep inclines on the outskirts and this kind of view does not surprise me, I live and work in the Yorkshire area, in the construction industry.I could take thousands of pictures from peoples back door's, with that type of view.

have you submitted it to uk-ufo? uk-ufo.co.uk... might be worth it as others may have seen the phenomenon.

Go headed mate, no problem. I have not posted the pictures anywhere else it is a Ats exclusive, so to speak.

i've been looking/asking around and can't find any mention of any further witnesses to this, so if we only have the photo's to go on, there's little else to say. It will be interesting to hear the story surrounding the pics. How was it noticed and how fast was it moving for starters.... Given it's low flight path, I find it almost impossible that nobody else saw it and reported it.

I find it weird that changing various parameters on the photos brightness/saturation etc, the object remains exactly the same brightness throughout (i have no idea why, i'm no photo expert) The 2nd picture appears (IMHO) to feature window reflection and not lens flare. I swear it was taken from an upstairs window, but again I could be completely wrong.

The object also appears to be in focus which is odd as the tree is slightly out of focus. If I was to be dismissive, i'd say it was reflecting in glass, which is why the cam has it in focus?

We need some ATS photo experts in here

Picking up on what you said here;

The below is a description from the witness, cannot imagine that this could be a reflection in glass.At the moment i have no reason to believe that this witness is telling porkies.

I saw it at 11.30-11.45 ish saturday morning in crossgates leeds...it was going from left to right accross the sky...this was taken at my back door...and just as it got close to the house in the picture on the left it shot off really fast...i dont know about speeds...but by the time i went to the front of the house to see if I could still see it down the street it had gone...as for size...I would say helicopter size it was flying at about the same hight as a helicopter...thats what i thought it was at first but it wasnt...no idea what it was...I keep checking to see if its going to come back...fingers crossed it will.

i've read all that, but given the witness proximity, there will be much more detail about the physical appearance of the craft. was it pulsating, leaving any air disturbance... why hasn't he gone to the media? lots of questions, 2 random pictures...

Thanks K-PAX, for saving me the trouble. much appreciated.. Like I said earlier,I am visiting my daughter this weekend and I have a bunch of questions to ask..I'll post the outcome.

Without taking any body's word into account I will go by what I see.
I see a shed roof out back what looks to be a view from a second story window.
From my perspective I would tend to believe this image is the sun reflecting off of something inside the room reflecting on the window.
I have seen sun reflective images like this before I will try and dig them up.

This thread is dealing with the same type of photo.

Thanks for the link, I have had a look at network dude's thread, and one of pics do look similar'ish, but I am still unsure and keeping an open mind until I get more information from Emma and Dave..

My problem is, why would Dave lie to my daughter about the pictures, its not as though he is trying to make money from it, he has not posted the pictures anywhere else.

Like you guy's, I want to find out the truth and I would be the first to throw it in the Hoax bin. I will be going to Emma's Saturday so I should get some answers.

Yes my daughter does believe there is a phenomena entering our sky's. She is a member on here, but I don't think she has posted anything.
And your other question..I am also wondering the exact same thought. I shall get us some answers over the weekend.

Oh no. I'm not implying that anyone is "lying" I'm just trying to explain what it is I believe I see at face value.
Otherwise it's just another alien UFO.

Given the visual intensity and apparent physical dimensions of the "object", one has to assume that it was at not too great a distance from the observer. With that in mind, I decided to enlarge both images using unique software that permits significant enlargements while introducing almost no degradation, pixellation or artifacts.
However, even at an enlargement of x45, the object shows no discernible structural features beyond that of an amorphous, elliptical light source and definitely no clearly defined edges or boundaries.

If possible, I'd like to perform the same enlargement operation on the originals.

Thanks for enlargements,but still does not give us much to go on, like you said there is no discernible structure.

I have asked Emma a few more questions, it turns out David is a professional artist and writer (and happily married MiTS65 ). My daughter is into photography and art, she showed me some drawings he has sent her.He comes across has a honest, genuine guy.

Emma wasn't very well last night, so I didn't push it, but she told me he put the pictures on his Facebook page(Emma saw them on his page and asked him about them, they never discussed Ufology prior to her seeing them) and got fed up with being ridiculed, so he removed them. She said, he does not want the publicity surrounding the pictures.

I think the integrity of the witness goes a long way in these cases. Make up your own minds on this one, I will update this thread, if something new surfaces.
