Nor should you feel safer. If the TSA was truly concerned about people sneaking bombs on board airplanes in their crotches, they would screen EVERYONE. Since they aren't screening everyone, this proves they are NOT concerned.

So what is going on here? This is called mass conditioning. The "random" extra screening is designed to make innocent passengers think that it's a "fair" and "unbiased" process so that they are more willing to submit to it. They feel (incorrectly) that by submitting to these extreme crotch pat-downs that they are somehow helping fight terrorism. See how that works?

This is first gradient in a gradually increasing slope down into a police state. It takes generations to get there in a way that society will accept it. This is all carefully designed and executed to reduce the numbers of people who refuse it to a manageable level.

It's our job to make that number completely, and utterly, unmanageable.

This is absolutely insane. So, in order to fly nowdays you have to submit to patdown like a common criminal. What's next, drop your pants and spread your cheeks?

Don't worry, it's coming. Just as soon as they figure out how someone could fit anything the least bit dangerous in there.

Per CNN Morning: The passenger now faces a $10,000 fine and a civil suit for not completing the security procedure. So beware... if you don't agree to their procedures, object or make any waves, they will railroad you. Travesty.

So, if we don't let them rape us, they will sue us for 10,000!

Can you think how dangerous this concept would be anywhere else in life?!?

I am thinking prom... either your date complies, or gets raped or doesn't get raped but you can sue her for 10k!

How is this in the least bit ok?

My job unfortunately requires fast travel leaving me at the molestation crazed mercy of the TSA (Team Sexual Assault). The viagra WAS my fokrm of protest (since voicing opposition will get you raped or sued). Fight fire with fire I say!

hmm ... they removed my post that basically said "if you don't like the full body scans at the airports, then drive".

and also said "you gave up your freedoms when you allowed GWB to sign the Patriot Act"?

I guess a post about giving up freedoms was deemed too offensive.

The scary version is, that if they DON'T scan kids, it won't be long before terrorists figure this out.

Who do you think they'll get to carry their weapons and bombs through security when they do?

I personally find the whole rummaging through everything in my suitcase way more invasive then a quick groping, If someone wants to grab hold of my "junk" then they can have at it! TSA or not,
I'd rather be groped then blown up.

Edit to add

The thing is, objects in my things could be weapons...

My junk is typically not considered to be a weapon (as much as I would like to think otherwise... lol).

Last I recall, I gave up no rights when buying a ticket. If that is the case, they need to put it in size 40 font right on the ticket "warning, use of this ticket constitutes you forfeiting all of your rights. Please have your 'junk' out and ready for a groping!"

I would rather go through the scanner than have them come near me. Why the hell would you want a job where your a male and want to touch and grab males genitals all day.

Big deal about the scanner, the uk gov have been out to destroy me for like forever, so some xrays may make them feel better. I would rather do that than be touched up thanks.

There are plenty of guys who would be getting their jollies over publicly molesting other guys at airports.

So, you don't all feel that you simply gave up all of your rights (constitutional and otherwise) when you bought a ticket on travelocity? "That gnome took my rights!!!"

What term(s) for his genitalia would have been acceptable to you? I haven't heard the term "junk" used in quite some time but it certainly made apparent his intention of what was not to be touched.

Well, they've been making fun of it pretty much all day on FOX News, laughing and comparing it to the catchphrase, "Don't tase me, bro", except inferring that's it's even more humorous.

By all means, enlighten us regarding what the people who use this term have in common. He was well spoken and held his composure far better than many would have. I am completely familiar with the standard terminology for the genitalia but figure if I'm dealing with an individual who most likely has a double digit IQ, I'll just stick to terms they can relate to.

It's not really a statement about their intelligence, but rather a certain mentality.

Is that certain mentality that of one who doesn't want to be molested? Or one of someone who doesn't want their rights trampled on? Or is it a mantality of someone who thinks that the TSA (Team Sexual Assault) has taken liberties FAR beyond their intended authority?

If that is the "mentality" that you are trying to accuse people like that of having, then count me in! (And don't touch my junk!)

Ok, the don't touch my junk is now on the front page of fox news.com!

People are really up in arms about this!
