It's no secret that Beck and others have copied material from the Internet verbatim — but, for that matter, the great majority of content you see on
the Internet is hijacked from other sources, as well. There's very little in the way of "original material" to be found
anywhere online or
anywhere else, come to think of it.
Except, of course, for my own writing and that of a very few others. I've seen my writing turn up on the big news sites and even in speeches and
public addresses. Do I care? Not particularly. My objective in writing and publishing is to inspire others toward action — why should I object to
my ideas being disseminated by other sources?
No, I don't care much for recognition or money, especially in this age or rampant piracy. The important thing is THE IDEAS, not how I am compensated
for them.
