Here is the video i recorded.

www.youtube.com...

at the main menu you're sitting at a chair, being forced to play this game, and intake war scenario after another. mind control.

but what i figured out is that you can't actually get out of this chair and use a computer in the room.

Whats not in this video is me figuring out how to use it even more, opening up DIR, Pictures, encoding, and deoding things.

you use this computer to decode codes you find in single player,. or encode anything you want.

i've figured out now after playing with this computer for 30 minutes, this game is like a big puzzle, and it wants us to figure it out.

The first mail practically lets you know it wants you to guess everyones password, you get their username in the computer, so i just need their name of a loved one and a date.

masons password is obviously password, but still, this game is getting interesting fast!

and the doctors keeps saying weird things. "I know when you're lying" "You know why your here" "We're running out of time" "Focus mason, try to remember" "The numbers mason! what do they mean?" "What really happened in cuba?" "How can you be sure what really happened?"

Actually I think you can get out of the chair, despite not owning the game my gaming clan are pretty much talking about it almost non-stop in the chat. I am not sure of the button configurations you have to push but they said there were some that could be. When you get out you move behind the chair and unlock everything in the game or something?

Either way I think I kind of get you post in linking it with our current reality and how well we really know our events? What mystery lies within' them virtually asking what weren't we told about certain events due to the nature as to how they were conducted.

Edit -- A clan mate of mine just typed this. Not to sure if cross linking to another board is okay but if not I hope a MOD/Admin will let me know immediately so I know for future reference.

Hint on a new zombies map: As you know, you can get up off the chair at the main menu. Now go to the same computer where you typed 'DOA' but this time type in 'ZORK'. It will say something about being in a field next to a white house with a barricaded door. Methinks this is a hint towards a new zombies map that takes place in the White House!

This is what stuck out to me the most, and yes I did see your video as well especially the beginning portion and let it run as I continued to look for information.

Its really weird. They' want you to figure out all the information on the computer

but its a puzzle to get it all out, you need to find the codes, and decode them, and encode things

its nutz

I never play 3d shooters, but it sounds like one of those 60's movies that dealt alot with mind control.

Yeah I heard it's pretty much interrogation filled with flash backs, I'm not much of a First person type of person, but the idea of playing a game like that is certainly intriguing. The visuals of the flash backs themselves [saw a review] made me really want to try it. Piecing together a puzzle also seems to be very nice.

WTF?

Why does every big name game that comes out have to have a conspiracy attached to it? Threads like this always happen with the release of these games, and nothing like the OP claims ever occurs

Another fail

There is an actual trophy or achievement for getting out of the chair. I haven't lloked into it, but it woulde be interesting to find out how.

What's interesting about that computer terminal, are the undocumented commands. For example, in the 'help' file (type 'help') you'll see that 'dir' is the list directory command. However, the command 'ls' (LS) also works, but it isn't listed in the 'help' file.

I haven't had any time to see what other Linux/Unix commands work on that terminal that aren't listed in their 'help' file....damn day job.

I noticed that it all so flashes the release date witch is 11/9/10 and back words its 9/11/01. The game is called black ops. It was released on this date i think to imply 9/11 was a black ops job.

Zork was one of the best ever Text based adventure games, You have to be at least my age to remember it though as it's from a time before graphics

You can play the whole thing online here

For people that don't have a clue how to play these type of games the first command you need is "Open mailbox" the command "Look" is also pretty useful I'm sure you can work it out from there
