Boy did you get our attention! Nov 1st my friend and I were walking our dogs about sunset. We live in the high country of Arizona. This is a rural
area but there is a small park near the open rolling hills. As we crossed the grass, the sun caught the most amazing sight. The entire grass, tree
tops and light poles were criscrossed with tiny filiment sized threads. It looked like a million spider webs. Everything was covered. There were
some hanging down from the trees to my vehicle. My friend picked up some and there were little wads of "something" that felt dry like cotton.
There was a thin and thick consistancy to this stuff. It also stuck to her gloves. It stayed around on the pavement for days. It sounds similar to
your post. I've never heard of angle hair before. I'd love to know what this was. We know the "critters" of our area and this is nothing we
have seen before.
