Actually the United States has the best healthcare of anywhere in the world. Illegal immigrants without a job or insurance can even recieve the same healthcare here that those of us who do work and pay for insurance recieve. No way can anyone say our healthcare is poor, it is the very best.

This does seem to be the gripe of many. They tend to lump in the cost of health care with the quality of it. They are NOT, the same and that is the hardest part for someone to grasp, I think...

The quality of the United States Health Care System if unsurpassed. We are the leader in: Innovations and care. Hands down. I can't get anyone to tell me who innovates more for the medical field!

Putting Health Care in the hands of our Gummint, is economic suicide! Let us keep in mind that this is the same gummint that has run Social Security into the ground, bankrupt the Federal Reserve, tanked on Medicaid/care, folded Amtrakk and all other public transit systems!

To me, it makes simple sense to keep their grimy mits off of my body!

Spot on, the government breaks everything they touch. Our healthcare system works, it's not perfect but it is works far better now than with the governments hands in it. It would collapse and go broke just like social security.

Really? Where were the dems when I needed them? I should have found one when I was a kid, getting migraines 2-4 times a week, maybe I could have gotten all the care I needed. I am not sure if it was adolescence or mary that practically cured me, because they both came into my life at around the same time. They just diminished thank whoever, I sure know it wasn't god though, unless maybe he has long prayer lines too lmao.

If you are just above the poverty line, you get no help at all. It really does suck, that those of us that are actually working, can't get help. Blue collars don't want a free ride, however a lot can use a bit of help.

How could you sue someone for talking about something? You can't. However, in places such as your home, Canada, people can be sued for far more trivial things. Was that a rip at the US from a smug Canadian?

Oh yes, thousands of children would not have healthcare. Course you forgot the flip side of the coin, if it was not for the republicans, all of the current public health care system, that services millions across the country would not be able to operate and thus there would be millions who would not have any kind of medical care or treatment.
The democrats hold up the ballon that, and it is the republicans that are asked to figure out how to fill it up to pay for it. And guess what, that cost is passed onto the people, cause neither side wants to give in and admit that the country can not afford another entitlement program at this time, or anytime in the future where the descendents are going to be footing a bill that they did not want or spend. So does it matter that we have healthcare now, that our children, and grandchildren and great grandchildren will inherit a several hundred billion on up over a several trillion dollar debt that they did not incure?
