I wouldn't say capitalism has failed, though some very powerful people will wish it so, and claim it has.
Keynesian economics has failed, although it may have been rooted in good intentions. The problem really is that GOD doesn't run things, and humans can screw up anything.
And the world turns.

Capitalism has succeeded for the select few.

I agree.

Capitalism is fatally flawed. The U.S. economy is failing and their going to drag the rest of the world down with them.

I feel like not every country will be affected, but most will. Also it seems like we are devolving as a society back into the times of Royalty. We are the peasants and the kings and queens are the bankers and politicians.

If you think about it, and read some history, capitalism has definitely NOT failed. Capitalism brought so much comfort to so many people, that OBESITY is an epidemic. If anything, the PEOPLE have failed to monitor their government.
No, the problem is clearly corruption at the very top, and a pathetic, lazy populace that are afraid to stand up for their rights.
If you are afraid to get off of the grid, you empower them. If you are afraid to take a stand, and just complain when you see fellow citizens abused by government, you empower them. When "peasants" don't stand together, peasants have no power at all.
