John Doe - We apologize, Facebook has decided to use a flood control. You have added to many std's today. Try again in 24 hours.

And that guy would be the one that lost friends at a very fast pace haha.

a lot of people who are afraid or ashamed to go out in public and have another person examine them and then tell them they have std's. i think a great deal of people would rather use the phone application, and find out privately in just a few minutes. forgot your bloodwork papers? use the app and show it to your new girlfriend/boyfriend right there on the spot. blam. commence fooling around.

if i heard one case of it being innaccurate though, i'd never use it.

Finally!!.. "my cell phone says I'm clean, uh.. whats your name again?".. I can stop tearing open an Alka-Seltzer packet pretending it's the rubber I'm not going to wear..

AND no more surreptitious "lemon tests"... happy days are here again!

I heard there working on the fecal smear and pap smear versions now also.

With the new 4G video conferencing this could be very interesting!

This could also be a way to get your DNA imprint to the powers that be! Sounds like a bad idea all around. Our identity has been taken away enough allready hasn't it? what are your thoughts.

Uhh.. So iPeed on my iPhone and iMok!

Be a bit of a shocker if you were in the loo and dropped your phone in the urinal and it started beeping at you indicating you got impending cauliflowers while the guy next to you backs away with a glazed look on his face...

Some people are just MESSY! And the not so bright bulbs, answer the call they couldn't wait for while waiting for results lol

Seriously though, Some things should just remain the same. I wouldn't want to share my medical/health record and history to some phone app because it saves a trip from seeing a REAL DOCTOR.

Also, S&F, too many prediction threads getting tossed around. This was interesting

So fine, you find out from YOUR PHONE
that you have an STD. What now? You still have to go to a doctor to get treatment. Why not just go to the doctor in the first place?

Great Idea...Your giving out your drug record and DNA profile by peeing and spitting on this thing, then downloading that information into an UNSECURED MASS COMMUNICATION DEVICE!

You guys buy it. I'll keep my junk wrapped up and not worry about it.

Wrong bro.

Those tests are paid for by people who use prophylaxes; Responsible working people, and the like.

Sure the std-infested also pay into the pot, but in the end they mostly freeload.

*There should be a limit on the number of std tests one is allowed to get on other people's dime.

i am unsure i would want to pee somewhere then put it near my face to use the other functions sometime after even though it has been cleaned. it does not sound very hygienic to me, how about just making a seperate app that can be carried around.

My thoughts are.... Get thicker tin foil. Are you serious? An I phone app used to steal your info?
Open the blind and peek outside... The world is going on out there!

Not that all technology wont be used for devious purposes... But this is needed..

Watch the sales #'s Colleges and universities will rule the app buying world!!

OH NO!!!
White castle cheese burgers have IFD chips in them!!! White castle wants to brainwash me!!!!

Why look through the sales ads in the newspaper - you'll have to go to the store anyway.

Why look up cars your interested in - you'll have to go to the dealership anyway.

Why watch for the train coming? Its going to get there the same time right?

Why use internet banking - You can go to the branch!

Such silly comments...

Did you think maybe.... just maybe.... there might be a night that you would like to know the answers to HER or HIS test? I know its a stretch to think this might have multiple necessities...

Are you intuned and inclined to purchase all products? Probably not, simply put, everything isn't for you!

Instead of "You've got mail!"....

wait for it....

3...2...1....

"You've got AIDS!"

Yeah...that was predictable.

I think you would run into cost issues.

This will be cost effective because, It will utilize the processor in the phone. If you made a stand alone product, it would require a processor, therefore increasing the cost exponentially.

I have to believe that thhey will be taking sanitation into consideration... I dont picture you peeing on your phone.

I'm not giving you a flag, but I have just read about a dozen of your other posts
and I am going to add you to my friends list.

on topic: If they can make an app. for STD's here, they sure will be able to do the same for diabetics. That would be huge.

Exactly ! Also.. A woman could use this to pin point the days most likely to become pregnant.

I think the best part is.... this uses the phones processor.. So the cost will be in the phone.. The app will utilize the phones processor instead of a stand alone device...

I thank you for your "friend" .. I will return the jesture.. May I ask what posts you liked enough to friend me.

Really? I mean really???

Simple and cheep testing that presumably require a person to identify them selves and have the results added to their medical files???

Sounds very sensible for me, exactly the sort of thing a responsible modern country should be doing, problem persons will be identified and action could be taken.
