Hi people

This is my first thread started anywhere on ATS and I would like to hear your thoughts on this video below.

I would like to say that I'm skeptical on most things (which does not mean I rubbish the idea of it being paranormal. Merely that I place more logical explanations first) But after seeing this video it has stumped me. I initially thought of thin wires being placed on objects or servo's , pistons even co2 rams. But when I look at it closely the physics dont match up to this.

And that will bring me to the second video.

Now in this video at 4 seconds is the bottle fly towards the fireplace, strike the front and ricochet off onto the beanbag. What gets me is if there was a wire in the fireplace dragging the bottle towards it then would it not have the energy to bounce off to the side?

As I said I'm still confuffled by this uploaders videos.
Either they are
A) Very very very good hoaxes

B) A very real documentation of a paranormal event.

Love to hear your views on this.

Nice videos. Not as scary as Paranormal Activity, but nice nevertheless.

Are they evidence of poltergeist manifestation? Who knows, but there is one little section that suggests there is more to these than meets the eye.

Try stopping the second video at exactly 29 seconds. What do you see?

I have my dobuts about this. Why the hell would someone video tape this when at ANY time the poltergeist could harm them? I have seen fake videos like this which have used quite the same techniques. I belive that the same tricks could have been used in videos like this, otherwise, I view this as quite good.

A thread was made about this a while ago and I'm almost 100% sure that this guy (the guy making the videos) was debunked as well.

I'll try and find the thread for you but in the mean time, I wouldn't take these videos too serious tbh.

Also, look through his videos, do you really think all that activity happens to one person (a person who isn't afraid) and right when he has a camera handy, seems pretty convenient don't you think?

Here's his youtube account:

Awesome! In the second video I noticed at 32 seconds a small orb flying infront of the fireplace. It comes from somewhere behind the couch. Good video! I did think that the first one could have been edited though but I am convinced of paranormal activity on the second one.

Chances are that the person filming this wasn't around the camera at the time. Most likely the person had experienced something and set up a video camera to capture it on film.

Actually, orbs are quite harmless.

Hello there cool first thread!

The videos are very well done. The first one all I could think of was midgets in the cupboards, but the second video has me stumped!

Although I'm not a big believer in poltergeists etc I certainly can't explain the video...

No, on most of his video's, he's either calling for something to happen and it does, or it happens randomly. He's a hoaxer unfortunately. Just look through his video's...

Do I believe in this sort of poltergeist activity, absolutely, but there's so much fake stuff on the net that it's almost worthless to even guess about the validity of these videos anymore. If this was fake, it was rather well choreographed.

Peace

Hey guys, cheers for the responses. Was not expecting it

Sorry for not remembering names as I type this (my memory is
at times)

The part at 28 seconds happens in another of his vids. It showed one of his other videos in the attic (Maybe this is from using the same tape possibly. and interference somehow disrupted the recording???) Thats my educated guess

And as I said I am a skeptic too. I'll look for logical possibilities first.

I'll email him and see if I can stay there overnight

Watch this video of his: www.youtube.com...

Take note around the 26 second mark.

You'll see frames drop out and some footage from ANOTHER video of his.

How the ???? does that happen on an unedited video?

The guy that shoot the video explained what this frame was, on the youtube comment section...

@PhYcOnErD No, that's a corridor in Pembroke castle. I went there to shoot a video a while before. I don't think it's supernatural at all. The picture hitting the camera as it fell just caused the heads to stick, or the tape to move away from the heads for a moment. A bit of dirt on the tape or the heads has the same effect.

Happened to me all the time, when I had one of the old video cameras that used VCR tapes. You recode over one too much and at starts showing things like that.

I did my best to spot some fishing line pulling the objects(in the first 2 videos), I certainly didn't see any.

I sense sarcasm.

Anyway, for anyone interested, here's the previous thread on the subject.

Here's the posts of interest:

There was another thread as well I think but I can't seem to find it.

There was some other good posts from that previous thread as well, some for and against, but the general consensus is this is fake.

Both good videos and fun to watch but, these sort of things would be much more believable if the poltergeist were to break/throw something of value. Why knock over the garbage can when you can throw that TV out the window? A good hoaxer needs to make some sacrifices.

Very good videos, especially the first one.

As to saying if / how they are fake. It's just impossible to tell (well to me anyway) unless someone makes a really obvious mistake.
Home movie makers aren't restricted to pulling things with bits of string anymore, anyone can have pretty professional video editing /sfx software at home that can do more or less anything that can be done in a big budget Hollywood movie.
If you can imagine it, you can fake it.

But as I said theres not really anyway to tell unless someone who has more expertise then me knows something

I love it but then I am a sucker for these things and believe them until they are debunked.

I don't think poltergeists are allowed to hurt you although they can try and scare you to death.

Also love the comment from the poster above. "have to make some sacrifices."
