I wouldn't call the man God but i just disagree with your thesis on the subject, i feel he does alot more good then bad like i said it's Tru-Tv's highest rated show which means people are taken a intrest he's forcing the so called sheeple to take a look at the issues, the simple fact that on the plumb island episode he made the politician from New York look either nieve or a liar after he talked to the former head of Plumb Island makes people think just what kind of people are running the government if there that uninformed or that much of a liar, it gets people to think, not to mention that Jesse also won the governorship as a Independent when this country so needs another large party to combat the monopoly that the Republicans and Democrats have on this country...bottom line the mans a trend setter and that my friend is a good thing.

Jesse Ventura is not a disinfo agent, just a broke former governor trying to make a few bucks by jumping on the paranormal/conspiratorial entertainment bandwagon.

That show is awful. The Plum Island ep was bad, I can't imagine how bad the really crazy episodes are.

I don't really care for the show, this man isn't any sort of hero or savior but he is doing more than any one of us to shed a little bit of light on conspiracy theories in general. I think the show is over dramatized, but thats anything on television these days. It is my hope that the viewers will see something on the show and then do their own research to draw their own conclusions, I certainly wouldn't take anything Ventura says as fact until further research. But hopefully that is how many people will wake up, perhaps they will see something on the show and then tell a friend and they'll tell a friend and spread it around.

The only problem is, I still don't really see anybody doing anything once they do wake up. Even if they 100% believe in some of these conspiracies, they will still feel helpless to stand up to the government. I mean look at us, we all know in our heart of hearts that we aren't free and that governments have been lying and covering things up since the dawn of time, but are any of us really doing anything besides sitting on ATS and discussing what we HOPE happens?

I mean you bring up some valid points in terms of what are we doing here just sit and typing at Above Top Secret but were doing more then that if you think about it, i mean for instance Jesse's show probably wouldn't have been created if it weren't for sites and people like us and like i said it is Tru-Tv's highest rated show so just because it might not be smack you in the face obvius stuff, what we post on here in round about ways do sometimes trickle down to the main stream media even if it's not like i said obvius and the more people wake up the better and if it keeps going this way change will happen through out the history of the world this has happened on many occasions, like for instance you have people like Dave Chappelle talking about the dark secrets of Hollywood you have a former Governor taking on conspiracy theories and like i said it's because of sites like this that this info gets out so it works in around about way.

I have noticed also that the general emotion governing that show is anger and hate. That's with the "Good Guys". i believe that sincere worry and care of the truth also comes with a doable solution or at least an attempt at one. This show in my opinion is just more propaganda for the masses. Keep them fearful with a stagnant anger and people will do nothing but gripe. Stay tuned for more info to gripe and do nothing about. Any Thing Media Should Be Questioned At All Times!

Well squirrelnutz, I have to completely disagree with you on this one. I think Jesse Venture is completely genuine and believes in the conspiracies that he explores. I've seen most of the episodes of his new show and I like it a lot. I've never seen anything that would suggest he's trying to make conspiracy theorists look crazy. The opposite actually. Wasn't his show the first to air E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confession? No, I believe he is not a disinfo agent. He's one of the only honest people left in politics, which is why he's an independent.

He might be genuine, but the rest of the show isn't.. The "research" team he has doesn't believe any of it.. You can see them fighting laughter as they're explaining # to him...

Jesse is 100% genuine, but he believes EVERYTHING.. Some of the things the show brings up are valid, but then they go waaay off topic, into the unbelievable...

Example: The MK Ultra episode.. MK Ultra is a known illegal human CIA research program.. There is easily enough TRUTH on this subject for an hour long episode but he spends half the show interviewing a "MK Ultra assassin"

I don't think Jesse knows he is a disinfo agent, but he is by making the truth a fantasy...

Might I suggest you guys read books or learn up on the subject of detecting lies/deception?
Don't dwell too deep because you'll wind up thinking everyone's a liar, but definitely freshen up on them.. You won't need to be a master lie detector to see through most BS

And, if for nothing else, it'll make you a better poker player

They probably thought he would be pathetic when he got the show originally thus furthering their cause, but as it turns out the shows are well constructed and add value to the cause. I'm guessing that's why they just pulled an episode.

Yeah, they're both just there to deflect attention away from the real garbage.
