Im mean surely....
I see plenty of people talking as I do and saying yeah I would go...
but I mean surely there has been someone crazy enough to try something...
even if death was a likely result that hasnt stopped people all across time from doing really stupid stuff...
Ive heard some youtube vid about a guy and some airplane recording... Im sure yall would know more about the legitimacy of that than me...
Im thinking at least a dozen people have prolly tried.....

Here is the audio where the pilot call art bell just before he "flies into area51" yearh right...

Sounds like sound effects of a plane looping in the background and the alarm sound later in also sounds like a audio clip played over and over..

I found this vid as well.....
I guess it was a good thing for him to pull over so quickly as opposed to the Grannies?
but if your gonna go in go in and go for it...
I mean make a dash and get blown up or something....
I mean thats more still what I meant from the OP
Someone else other than the mad grannies have made a dash for it Im sure?

There is a difference between crossing the border and actually breaking into the base. So you cross the border at the front gate ... And you see exactly what? The guard shack from ground level instead of from the nearby hill.

Jerry Freeman infiltrated (allegedly) the base from the southwest on foot. I think the base defenses to foot traffic away from choke points are not very good. However once on base, things would get ugly fast. The desert is a buffer zone. On base, there is probably good security.

there was a very secret group known as red cell. Red cell was made up of all seal team members. It was very controversial. The reason was the group was used to break into US military instillation's. The reason was b/c at the time (1980's- 1990's) we were afraid of terrorism. Not the kind we think of today but about a small special forces unit. We needed to see if a specially trained unit could get into top secret military areas. The team wasnt given any intel, any money or even any weapons and technology. Still they were aloud to kidnap, use certain legal interrogation and distractions of sorts. The team were able to get onto American war ships, submarines and into the compartment were nuclear weapons were stored, American weapon cachets, even air force one were they took hostages. Their tactics are still top secret, obviously they worked. But many do believe they had gained access into aircraft hangers and underground facilities on area 51. The team was eventually disbanded when the public become aware of them. Though there is a new unit few no about that has appeared among the seal teams, it called Dev Gru

If anyone tried to break in there I doubt there would be evidence.

My husband and I went to Area 51 twice. We lived in Salt Lake City at the time and would drive down to Las Vegas for gambling, the Super Bowl, (gambling)...this was in 1999, (we spent New Years Eve for 2000 in Vegas.......). We were younger and adventurous and we decided to drive from Vegas to Area 51, (without looking up the area and I am lazy tonight, I cannot provide the name of the small town near Area 51, but that was what we originally were shooting for....). We drove down a dirt road that I had been told on-line to follow, (I remember there being mention of a white mailbox and that was what we found). It was probably around 11pm or maybe midnight. Both my husband and I were avid campers, backpackers and thought nothing of throwing down a tent in the middle of nowhere. We come up to a metal sign that warns not to go any further...the area was restricted...and I am not kidding,,,,it mentioned that deadly force was authorized should you ignore the warning...We parked that car and my husband started to walk into the dark...I stayed in the car. My husband maybe got 50 feet or so away from the car..maybe 100 feet...and a spot-light from nowhere shines right on him. It lasts a few seconds and then immediately switches onto me...my husband comes back to the car and we set up our tent on the "legal" side of the imaginary boundary. (the lights never lit up again as long as we were on the correct side, so to speak. I think they were letting us know they knew we were there an to stay on "our side".) We saw strange lights and had weird dreams. The next morning, we were followed out to the highway by a jeep with two guys in uniform and guns. They turned around before we reached the road and never bothered us....We went back a few months later and saw even stranger lights, (scared us enough to sleep in the car). I was very ill, so we left early and never went back as we moved to the Midwest shortly afterwards.

The "Cammo Dudes" do have some discretion. There is a YouTube video showing a teenager riding his ATV on the legal side and then crossing over into the restricted area right in front of the cammo dudes and then riding for a short bit in the restricted area and then crossing over to the legal side. The cammo dudes didn't do a thing.

Not that I want to encourage this, but flashlight wars with the camo dudes can be fun. They light you up, you light them back.

Your description is pretty accurate, If they see you on foot at night, they will follow you with the light. They really don't like people on foot. A car is easy to spot. A person on foot at night, not so easy. I don't think the dudes have any night vision gear. I have an infrared spotlight I built using the IR filter from a tank headlight. Watching the dudes with night vision gear, I lit them up with the infrared and they didn't act as if anything happened.

The dudes don't like people on foot in the daylight either. If you climb Hawkeye Hill and leave your car unatended, the dudes drive to your car and try to get inside, so always lock your car before leaving it.

these are all really great replys...so no one has any instance of a person disappearing???

I think if one was to go through the trouble of breaking in at some point... as long as you werent trying to break into any buildings or anything... I bet you could scope a pretty good vantage point of goin ons..in and out in one night... you would have to stay completely silent from Ive read about vibration detection and such ...
seems like great fun

well good luck, at 20 miles they will know you are there at 5 miles you are a threat at 1 mile you are under watch at 100 yards you are being targeted, at the gate if you get that far you are detained and held until they know, how why and where and what you are, not many can get too the "fence line", i know of 5 that have not returned, most likely doing 25 to life for trying to enter. best to watch from a hill, see a "helo" get out, go back they way you came, there is a hill at the south west, 20 miles out side, dirt road 10 miles south, long walk, but good vantage point, can not see a lot until knight, $5000 should get what you need for pic and night vision. take a few and go stay no more than 30 min. do not post pic's they will come knocking,i was told this, and seen the pic's he has, the pic's can be seen on area 51, some cool stuff or did have not seen him since 2000, he did this in 1998. the pic are the web area51-dreamland resort.com have fun, watch out for the snakes.

Oh please. Nobody is doing 25 to life for crossing a military reservation. This is a federal offense. There are no secret federal prisons for citizens. You can locate prisoners in federal pens online.

My co-worker successfully "breached" the "Area 51" base (by the way, they don’t actually call it that). I posted about it in this forum a few times, too lazy to dig it up, sure if you were interested you could find it. Nothing interesting though, so don’t get your hopes up. Anyway, lol, he did so legally as it was for a project we were involved with. Wish I could say it was Alien related, but in reality it was really mundane. In fact, it would have been me going, but I had my choice to go there or go overseas for something else. Since I have done work on several "secret" (lol) bases in the past, I knew what I would have been getting into. And that would be long periods of boring nothing, followed by a few minutes or actual work, followed by even longer periods of sitting on my butt. After we got back in the office, I was right about going overseas as I had way more fun, lol.
Wish I could shed more light on the matter, but unfortunately reality is way more mundane than folks around here choose to view it as…..

1634 of the CRM is 6 months and or 500$ fine that is for trespassing, B&E with the intent is different, that is what they were charged with see chapter 42 title 11 4205 and 4214 the feds do not like it when you show up wearing body armor and having ar15's.and yes they did this before so they were repeat offenders, not to smart, just to see what was behind and in a fence.
