I pondered on how to title this, my very first, thread. 'Namaste' really did seem to be the most appropriate greeting, as I am here to learn from the divine in you, and perhaps someone may be able to learn a little something from the divine in me. I understand that isn't the actual definition of namaste, but it works in this context, I think.
About three years ago, I first came upon this site. Funny how I came to be here. I'm certain many of you will roll your eyes at this story, but that's fine. You're allowed to, it doesn't change the truthfulness and genuineness of it. I had been noticing for approximately a year 11:11, 1111, 11/11, popping up in my life all over the place. Not just on clocks, but everywhere. I am not one to jump to conclusions, and am very level headed while being very open minded. Never thought too much of it, but it went on...and on...and on. Until one day I decided that it must be the date and/or time (maybe milemarker?) that I would die. I just couldn't think of any other possible explanation! lol I had never studiend numerology or any subjects related to it. But it kept on until it was virtually everywhere in my life. So I googled it. Among other sites/articles that popped up, one of the things that popped up was a thread here on ATS, and so I clicked on it, and the rest is history, as they say. Now, I acquired a bit more info about what was happening to me than the ATS link, but I won't get into that here. (I hear sighs of relief...)
I have to admit, many topics/subjects were jaw-dropping to me. I had never heard of chem-trails before then, I had thought that my man and I were the only ones who discussed the 'What if the official 9/11 story wasn't the whole story?' topic, as well as the 'What if there is more to our origins on this planet than what we're encouraged to believe?' topic, or the 'Maybe the pyramids were built for different reasons than what we're taught in school?' topic. So with avid wonder I trolled the site, kept up with the progression of a few of the threads, and was amazed to see so many open-minded, intelligent, thinking-outside-of-the-box individuals, and all in one place! Sure, I would get a little disheartened when I came across threads that had replies/comments that were bullish in nature, condescending, intentionally insulting and degrading, but such is part of our human nature, I suppose.
So after a few years of observing, I finally came upon something I just had to comment on, so I joined. It's nice to be on site where my off-the-wall theories may get some actual credible input and constructive criticism, instead of simply being completely disregarded as 'too out there.'
My main topics of interest are metaphysical studies, ancient aliens/civilizations, ancient and current religious studies as they pertain to a world-wide belief system that we have since forgotten, some paranormal, ufo's/dimensional studies, and anything related to the intense awakening of humankind that we find ourselves in right now.
Namaste, my friends, and I am honored to be here among such open-minded people who understand that we are in the midst of something huge.

Namaste ji
strangely enough, I have been noticing 11:11 a lot as well, mostly when it comes clocks and such. if its late evening and i check the time, i commonly find the clock to be at 11:11. but it may be just that 11:11 catches your attention more than 5:21 does because its just random and doesn;t seem to have any symmetry, but for all you know you find it 5:21 more often when looking at the time, it just doesn't have the obnoxiousness of repeating numbers, you know? But really, i think I'm on the same boat as you. You wouldn't happen to be floating around India would you? cause if you think your gonna die on 11 11, then that means I am too, lol.

Nope, not in India, altho my mother did get my name from there! (not to mention I'm very fascinated with the culture)

And I know longer believe it is related to my future demise....& Yes, I agree, with the repeating numbers the combination automatically stands out in your consicousness. When it first started with me, I gave it no notice, just thinking, 'boy that's odd,' and kept going about my day. It took about eight months of this constantly occurring,(even on license plates and peoples' addresses at my work, and all clocks, including clocks that have the wrong times or don't work anymore-I once got 11:11 on three different clocks within probably 30 minutes due to the fact that the times were wrong-- each time I would look it would be 11:11), and then I started to get fed up with it, because it did get kind of annoying, ya know? Then when I googled it, I was surprised.
I'm not saying it does anything or means something for everyone, but I do know that it was the beginning of a very intense awakening for me, on all different levels. so hold on....
