Ulsterman has a Summary Post up which tells his track record in his own words. I see I missed a couple of issues when I went through trying to analyze how accurate The Insider has been, most notably about his predictions regarding Hillary Clinton and the offer of the vice presidency. Basically the Insider predicted the issue a few days before Drudge broke the story. So I have to give a +1 for that one.

But it looks like there is a -1 regarding Pelosi. Remember the issue was dumping her and her retaliation against Obama. Well, I guess you can say she got dumped, but it was the election that did it, not the Democratic Party. Perhaps you could say the election did their dirty work for them, but the rest isn't panning out, at least not yet. She now says she's running for minority leader. I don't see her 'taking down Obama' if she is still in Congress as minority leader. Of course, that begs the question of whether she could win, but sill, it doesn't look like it's going down quite the way the Insider said it would. We can probably put this in the unresolved category until after January, but it's definitely not a plus yet.

Why is it that you or Ulsterman can't provide any sources for these "predictions" coming true. All he says in that summary is "the mainstream media is talking about it"...no sources...no links...no exampls....nothing. And you have done the same thing...you say so many have come true...but you say which ones or give any source that proves it has come true.

I googled "Hillary Clinton vice president 2012"...and came up with nothing. There were a lot of opinion pieces saying that it might help Obama's poll numbers..but that's it. In fact, there are articles saying she isn't looking to run for president in 2012 or 2016 (coming straight from her) and that Obama has already asked Biden to run for VP and denied the rumors about Clinton being VP.

Clinton saying she won't make a 2012 or 2016 run.
www.cbsnews.com...

Obama saying Biden/Clinton swap rumors aren't true.
blogs.wsj.com...
www.politico.com...
www.npr.org...

Biden confirming Obama has asked him to be VP
content.usatoday.com...

So there are my sources pointing towards this Ulstermans information being off.

Could you please provide sources for your information on any of his "predictions" coming true????

This is a blog post by an anonymous "Ulsterman"
on a pretend news site which anyone can post a story
that is claiming to be in contact with an "anonymous" white house insider.

If there was an insider I would imagine they would select one of a million more credible, actual journalists to choose from.

There is absolutely nothing credible about this guy or his stories. They are political fiction.

The fact that some here are desperately trying to defend his credibility in vain says a lot about how eager folks are to BSed as long as it is Anti-Obama.

Say it with me....Deny Ignorance.

Schuyler, could you please update this thread with links to sources that prove the "predictions" he made have come true?

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have asked you.

From an outside source;

The Ulsterman Report - The Background to the Hoax

To prove Newsflavor was becoming a 'content farm' a small group of Triond users decided to publish an obvious hoax, then vote it up (via the 'hot content' button), and, according to their stated goal, get moderators to come in and start moderating the site.

What the group in the forum had sought to do was embarrass the site. Have someone step in and moderate, Have Hot Content be not the crud they were elevating, but have it be the best that was published in the past 24 hours, or the best there was.

Since the site did nothing, they decided to publish a complete hoax. Something that was totally untrue they would vote up until their fingers bled and in this way, maybe, the site would notice it was a Content Farm, and that steps would be taken.

To assure their articles were voted up, they wrote negative attack articles about Obama;

The group was aware that Hate is more powerful than any other impetus. People will walk barefoot two miles in the snow to attack someone they hate. Hence they chose Barack Obama.

They had appreciated that Americans seemed astounded that they had put a Black Man in the White House, and would do anything, no matter how badly it impacted on the American people or government to hurt him.

The group decided to pretend to be 'White House Insiders' privy to all sorts of 'secrets'; but to tip their hand, to prove that it was a hoax. They used the term "Ulsterman". They assumed that persons with fully operational brains would grasp the fact that an Ulsterman is someone who lives in Northern Ireland, not someone who works in Washington D.C.

They misjudged the stupidity of the average Netizen.

As Triond users, they earn revenue for every article published on Newsflavor, so in some respects their hoax to prove Newsflavor was becoming a content farm has taken on a life of it's own and turned into a revenue stream for them, as long as they keep cranking out the phony "white house insider" articles.
