Yeah...something on tv news this morning about another big crater appearing...is the Earth folding in on itself..
volcanic activity seems to be abnormal of late too...good thread...(flagged)

Just so that everyone knows, this thread was not started with the intention of spreading fear of Armageddon but simply a thread to discuss a serious issue that is happening at the moment and seems to be happening more and more often.

If your going to just hate then don't even bother posting, simple. I'm sick of it on this site.

I am going to second that. Instead of denying ignorance, it seems like some of these guys are promoting it. It's not even the typical "turn the other cheek" ignorance either...its the "you people suck at life" ignorance. What a shame.

I agree that the symmetry of this hole has always puzzled me. I have a difficult time understanding the geological processes that would lead to a (nearly) circular hole with straight walls going down x100s of feet.

Just like many other things, I wish we could know the truth. But....

I actually started a thread on this about 5-6 months ago, about all the sinkholes that have been popping up, and it died without about as big a bang as Farrah Fawcett did.

I have a possible sink hole in my dad's back yard. He tied a weight on fishing string and put it in the crack, or hole and let it down. He then got to the end of the string and tied another to it and let all that string go down. Well, he did this 12 times and gave up. Each spool was 100 feet. He then tied a stick to it as a marker and told some people about this and nothing was done. I still wonder how far it actually went down. I know about where he pointed it out to me, but to this day i cannot find it anymore. It got covered over by mud, grass, leaves or something. I cannot find the hole anywhere. I hope it does not collapse or the house will dissapear into nowhere.

Sink holes do happen naturally, due to cave collapses and underground water that erodes or liquefies foundational strata.

If you notice, most of the holes that we care about occur beneath streets, where there tends to be pipes and assorted other infrastructure placed into the ground.. Often WATER pipes. Water pipes are often placed in residential areas as well. Also, traffic disturbs the soil and houses tend to weigh quite a bit.

Near bridges is a common spot as well and bridges too often involve water ways or drainage systems.

Regardless, summary, "The Agency" sys many holes iwll open along the equator, stay indoors 3 days, you get about 30 minutes of warning before. Sky turns a color I believe, dont go near the holes, they are fighting whatever it is.

All these seemingly 'sudden' holes are quite disturbing but as someone posted to me, maybe we're just getting the news now in a way we didn't before but there were always sink holes happening... time will tell.

Has no one put two and two together? These are Emergence Holes! Lizard people who live under ground ready to surface and start war with the surface civilization. Emergence Day is coming! Gears of War Predicted it! OMG RUN!!!!!. XD

Maybe it's Mole men? Theyve grown sick and tired of us. Or it could simply be Oversized Graboids that are very hungry.
That first hole is really big though.... A secret government weapon for digging holes to get to the center of the earth.

those are all good examples of sinkholes caused by natural undergeound topography.

here in myrtle beach, there was a sinkhole in the Myrtle Square Mall parking lot.
see, the property had a natural occuring spring that surfaced in this once undeveloped area...
it was on the fringe edge of a golf driving range, so the natural spring/wet hole never mattered.
Until they filled in the depression area and paved over the land making a parking lot.
if i recall correctly in 20 years the sinkhole appeared twice...

now the Mall is gone, the parking lot asphalt has been removed...the natural spring is hidden


theres much foundation repair work down here... likely from half-a**ed efforts
in fill dirt and foundation preparations. Piers & floor beams are sinking, monolithic concrete
floor slabs are cracking, all from debris laden backfill- in an attempt to cut costs and time...
just shoddy building practices.
I suspect that is the reason for 98% of the world wide sudden promonence of sinkholes...

primacy useage.

Maybe they're ventilation for all those who appoint themselves elite's, underground bases, they have very uniform sides, seem a little too symmetrical to me.
