Republicans remain on course to make substantial midterm gains across the country and to win control of at least one chamber of Congress, according to the final NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll before Tuesday’s elections.

Nearly 50 percent of likely voters prefer a GOP-controlled Congress, which is virtually unchanged from the poll taken two weeks ago; a plurality of all registered voters say it would be a “good thing” if Republicans were in charge of both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate; and almost two-thirds — including about half of Democrats — want to see a significant amount of change in the way President Barack Obama has been leading the country.
On Election Day, Hart adds, “The Democrats are about to feel the force of hurricane winds.”
Wanting the GOP in charge
According to the poll, 49 percent of likely voters prefer a Republican-controlled Congress, versus 43 percent who want Democrats to remain in charge.

I hate to get excited about polls but how can one resist. When everyone indicates the winds of change are acoming.
Please read the article for more info and the breakdown of the numbers. They all add the up the same as I see it.

A rebuffing of Obama and his crazy ways.

I dare say there will be some rioting in the streets in some areas of the country. The feeling is in the air. Anyone agree? Of course, I hope I am wrong but..... I don't think I am.

By the way, I think either side is about ready to go off. Some bad news for Obama, one side goes. Massive election fraud and other crimes related-the other side goes off.

I agree that it's probably going to be a housecleaning.

But I disagree in the sense that Obamas' "crazy ways" are any different than the previous four or five administrations have been. Obama is as "pro big business" and "pro Wall Street" as the rest.

Where are we going to be in a year when Republicans realize that they are just as disillusioned with their leaders as Democrats are?

Maybe then well stop listening to the pundits and lay the groundwork for some real change.

Latest generic polls are the largest spread ever recorded. A couple links-

Now, I posted back in January at both Dick Morris and Ace's that I saw a 73/10 changeover. I am still sticking with those numbers.

There are a few senate races that are being called Lean Dems that I think are off. Especially the reasoning behind a few big name Dems stopping in to help. Which only hurt.

If one story makes it nationwide, the spiel of the obvious slant and corruption of the MSM is going to be exposed. I do not know about you, but when I am told lies and the MSM is shown to use dirty politics by fabricating stories and blatant lies (think journOlist), the people are going to come out and vote against the party that they have been pushing.

I just watched today the debate of Ron Kind, Dan Kapanke, and the independent Michael Krsiean.
Krsiean only helped the destruction of Ron Kind's rhetoric. The greatest part was when Kind word for word used Obama rhetoric. The crowd shot was amazing. Almost everyone shook their head.

Wisconsin will be a complete red state turnover. Now, I do not know about the other states, but Wisconsin has always been blue. 100% changeover is an absolute analogy of a canary in a mine.

Wow, sticking it all out there. I like it.

I am along the lines of you. I stateh the other day that I think the polls are mostly slighted anyway and with that, most of the Repub/Tea Party canidates will win with at least a 5% , if not more, lead in the end numbers.

The MSM is on a full frontal attack in light of Tuesday. Well, we all know that and that they have been altering the numbers for the last two decades.

Start for your input and perceptions of things Sir.

Its certainly shaping up to be a very, very long election day for Democrats tomorrow. Realistically, I think the GOP will probably pick up around 60 House seats, come up one or two shy of control of the Senate, and control 30+ Governorships when the dust clears. On the other hand, if you believe the generic polling data, it suggests a possibility that it could be even worse than that for the Democrats...substantially worse. Whatever the case may be, it appears that the electorate is preparing to take out the trash tomorrow night in a big way.

It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch, at least as far as I'm concerned. My biggest fear right now is that the Democrats will go on something of a scorched earth campaign during the lame duck session between now and January and pass all manner of idealistic garbage while they still can.

If they do a scorched earth approach, they will screw themselves rorally for 2012. They should take a beating like a man, shut up and re-group.

They need to realize Americas want to be the way we are. Not SOCIALIST or anything else.

In my neighborhood, when I was a kid, there were dogs that sort of showed up, hung out for a while with us kids, and then moved on to other neighborhoods. Just neighborhood dogs. Every now and then there would be one with only three legs, and the missing leg was always the front left leg. I remember asking one of the older kids why the missing leg was always that front left leg, and he told me "That's what happens when a dog catches a car."

I can't wait for these GOP Tea Partiers to get swept into the legislature. Then we'll all get to see the GOP leadership lose a limb over what they've allowed to develop, and have even encouraged, in order to "rebrand" the GOP after destroying that brand during the 8 years they held the power in Washington. It can only get worse for people who still have jobs and own businesses that are still holding on, and ironically those are the folks who will be voting GOP this cycle. There will be a lot of limbs lost over the next couple years as a result of the GOP's efforts to shut down Obama's ability to "be successful" as a president, so that they'll have a shot at the WH in 2012. I wonder if there'll be anything to be the president of if they succeed?

Frankly, people do generally deserve the government they get, but never has the result been more deserved than what's going to come out of this election. Party on Tea Baggers. I can't wait to see the kind of stuff that washes up as a result of this wave election. It'll truly be historic.
