Apparently there is much chatter on ATS regarding November 2010, as in "something's going to happen" in November 2010. As in something major. There are many posts in various threads concerning volcanos, earthquakes, disclosure, Web Bot predictions, Timewave Zero flipping out in November, the Large Hadron Collider CASTOR experiment taking place on November 9th, Obama's upcoming trip to India in November, the elections, martial law, economic collapse, specific predictions for the start of WWIII in November, etc.

Well. November bugs me too. Perhaps it's the old 11|11 thing in combination with all the other things that seem to happening "all at once".

And there does seem of be a quickening of sorts. A convergence of events.

Those in the know may recall Carl Johan Calleman's explanation of the Mayan calendar. Apparently early November 2010 is an important date in his Mayan end-time paradigm as well. The beginning of the 7th day of the 8th wave.

Just thought I'd remind people that while it's been very easy in the past to denounce one or two things at a time as mere coincidence or wishful thinking, it will be increasingly difficult to continue to do so as events continue to unfold at an increasingly accelerated rate.

As for the rest of us, I think we know what time it is.

I already know what Stereologist has to say.
But who else feels like I do?

Here's a short interview with Calleman. In it he discusses the cosmic "schedule" we are on, and what November 3rd 2010 represents in his Mayan calendar paradigm.

According to this chart it's November 2nd, but I believe in the video interview he references November 3rd.

All you need to know:

November 1st

Happy Day After Halloween, ATS.
Maybe we can rename it Synchronicity Day.

Don't forget the 'run on banks' planned for November 7th, and the Russian Military Coup November 9th...
Breathe, just breathe... breathe in peace and love, breathe out fear and hate.
Believe in the good. Denounce the evil.
What else can we really do???

Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November...

On a side note, I've heard absolutely nothing predicted for the month of December, although by December 1st, I'm sure there will be a plethora of sorts.

You guys are starting to worry me!

The November 3rd thing is pretty interesting since it will be the day of the official results of this mid-term election in the US.

All the other things coming together within about a weeks time and the heat up of volcanoes and earthquakes is interesting as well.

Oh well, as super as I am, I still can't do much to change the coarse of fate......guess I'll just ride it out.

I feel oddly speedy, as if I had just had three very good cups of Guatamalan Antigua coffee. YUM!

DUDE! I swear I feel something similar. Im pretty confident its not just a placebo from the expectation for today.
I think I might do a meditation soon, see how that goes.

Actually I did have 3 cups of very good Gauatamalan Antigua coffee... so I would expect to feel rather slap-happy. Now... time to drink more coffee! :-)

As I've stated numerous times before, Calleman's theory is based on mistranslations and willful ignorance. I'll ask the question again, if Calleman's theory is correct what was happening in the universe 3 trillion years ago? Since the stela Calleman uses for his "calendar" places the creation of the universe 6 trillion years ago something must have been happening 3 trillion years ago.

The run on the banks won't matter here in the US where the banks are closed on the 7th. Another nonevent that can't happen.

Calleman's stuff is malarkey. He misrepresented a few pieces of Mayan writing and built a bunch of hooey out of it. He even makes reference to things the Mayans never knew about such as cells and galaxies.

it will be increasingly difficult to continue to do so as events continue to unfold at an increasingly accelerated rate.

I don't see an acceleration. Can you explain this claim. Is this based on the time wave zero and web bots, or actual events? Does this overlook that the LHC has been doing experiments for a while? I simply don't want to guess as to what you are referring to.

Carl Calleman deserves much respect for the incredible work he has done linking the information the ancient Maya left us with current history events. He may have his flaws, but who hasn't? He is just an interpreter like everyone of us. Many people are trying to debunk his work not realizing how disrespectful this is and how a huge step away from ignorance is being prevented this way. This guy has devoted his life to linking information concerning the biggest questions about our very existence. How many of us are trying to do this even on a pure everyday level?

In my opinion to get familiar with his works is a great start towards Enlightenment. Not because he will tell you what to do or what exactly is going to happen. But because it is a good example of how people should use their minds and link everything that is happening with them and the world. The Mayan calendric system is a fact - it's up to us how we will interpret it and use it. But to think that info the Ancients left us has nothing to do with us and is just some myth or a fairy tale is just pure ignorance.

Search for the info you need, connect the dots, use your mind constantly and question everything, especially yourself. Meanwhile your heart will give the credits you need to believe someone/thing. The real Enlightenment is a great teamwork of mind and heart.

I have to disagree with much of what you stated.

In academic circles it is the norm to challenge other positions. This is the essence of peer review. To suggest that someone's claims should not be challenged is simply stating that the person's work does not meet the quality of academic materials. You suggest that a challenge is disrespectful. Quite wrong. New information should be tested and challenged. That is what keeps false claims such as Calleman's identified as false.

Calleman has taken the step of earning money by writing nonsense based on the misrepresentation of a small amount of Mayan writing. He makes connections that are obviously false such as suggesting a Mayan knowledge of galaxies. They were unaware of galaxies. They appear to have known about changes int he positions of constellations, but were not aware of the cause, which is precession of the equinoxes.

The claim that ancient ideas has something to do with us is ignorance. It speaks to our past, not us. There is great interest in where we came from, but that does not tell us where we are headed or what is happening.

Search for the info you need, connect the dots, use your mind constantly and question everything, especially yourself.

What I find interesting is that after chastising people for questioning Calleman you summarize with this comment to "question everything". It sounds to me like bible thumping where everything can be challenged except for certain holy words such as Calleman's.

Here is a good challenge for Calleman.

Why does he base much of what he claims on a stela that suggests the universe is trillions of years old? That is the basis for his ages claim and the stela does put the universe trillions of years old.

This thread has to be the most stupid thing I've ever written, and I demand an apology from.... er, um... from myself.
