I don’t know if this has been posted before if so sorry. I was looking around on Google Sky and found this in the Libra Consolation. I’m not sure what it is and its maybe a wormhole I don’t know, looks like it was cut off at on end. If anyone knows what this is I would love your input. Thanks all. (PS if link wont work its at 15h 14m 26.48s -12 41'24.29" on Google Sky and sorry guys new at all posting.

Firefox won't open the link you posted for me. I'm anxious to see the image though! Perhaps another member can open it and post it in the thread. Just saw you mentioned the coordinates, I'll have a look.

Umm......your link does not work because I think you are linking to your own desktop computer.

EDIT: Glad to see you are trying to remedy the situation.

Same with the link.

Also, Google Sky is a composite of many images taken at different times and is full of meaningless anomalies. If you track them all down and investigate those meaningless things, you will be doing it until you die and then your children will be doing it for their whole lives and it still will have no meaning.

Tricky to say without the picture - I had a quick scout around the area and there are a few spiral galaxies;

NGC5892 is a beauty.

I have found a couple of interesting things In microsoft worldwide telescope
however someone locked me out of posting pictures. I have tried to log
in several times and always get the same message. I tried to re-register
and it says to come back at a later time. I've asked for mod support on
another thread and still no answer. Really lame ATS, really lame.

As for the rest, check out the following cooridnates.
15h 14m 26s -12' 37' 58"

Could it be a stiching artifact from when they collated the images together?

Must be the same technical glitch on different programs if Google and
Microsoft Worldwide Telescope are seeing something eh?

It very well could be if they used the same data to compile the images. Just because its by tqo different publishers doesnt mean that the images used are not from the same provider.

They are different images at the same cooridnates. It looks like a red wormhole or gate
with something exiting in a V formation on Worldwide telescope with DSS.
