It was in June and I totally forgot about it by now. This thread reminded me. I will try to describe it as exactly as possible, but since it happened a few months ago it`s a bit hard. I woke up around 3 AM (I often wake up randomly during my sleep). Since my bed is next to a window a star caught my attention. It was shining a bit brighter than an average star. I kept watching it for 2 minutes then it suddenly disappeared. I was a bit confused and thought about going back to sleep, but then it suddenly reappeared with 2 additional stars. Then they began to form various triangles, just like in the video you posted. I wanted to record it, but I don`t have a good enough camera in my room and my family would have went crazy if I woke them up for something like this, so after observing it for minutes, I went back to sleep. I`m not sure if the formations were exactly the same, but the distance changed greatly between the dots, so I`m not really sure that they were just balloons (according to the links in the comments they were balloons).

This is suppose to be in Switzerland. Someone else mentioned they thought it was form America originally, but I dont think so after reading one of the links above where they claimed it was balloons

In canton Aargau. If you are not familiar with Switzerland, cantons are the states. It`s marked as "AG" on this map, left to Zürich, which you should be able to find with ease on the top.

Translation of article on the ballons-

I can only speak for myself, but as I was only just now finally able to read the translation, I wasn't ignoring anything, I was just asking questions.

I do have to wonder if those balloons would have drifted that far to the west for karan to see. If she saw them around three am., and they were launched then as well, that is kind of fast. This is of course considering she saw them the same night. Now if it was, they moved pretty fast and if it wasn't, I wonder what she saw.

Man.. i'm so tired of seeing lights in the night sky. It's happening a lot more lately! What are they doing? Is this phase 1 of disclosure? All these sightings, many of which are seen by multiple people (ie: recent NY lights).

I think these like those in NY are real IMO.

All these strange lights in the sky everywhere. Are they becoming more frequent or is it because we now have the technology and more people able to catch pictures? I sure wish I knew exactly what's going on. If they're friendly, I'd love to be in one of those craft. Wonder why they go on and off. Too many questions. Thanks for the pic.

This video shows hot air ballons at night. You can cleary see the ballon itself. Now im no expert and cant say if there are not hot air ballons that dont glow when the burners are pulled or that the distance and video quality may or may not account for the lack of ballon or basket visability but i woudnt take that hot air explination with finding out more about my few concerns.

You are correct. Lights reflecting in a window. Notice how in the first part the lights are off slightly to the left. Yet the camera makes no attempt to center the lights in the frame. As if the operator were busy turning off and on the lights. Part two looks to have used a little more thought by having someone else manipulate the lights while the operator is shooting "hand-held" style. This could be duplicated by using a lamp with three small bulbs and one pen light for the motion. With the graphics at the beginning and end of the video, you would think that the person doing this could have done a little better.

Edit: Just read where it was stated these are balloons. I'm asking myself why would balloons be turning their lights off and on like that? Still looks like reflections to me.

Hot air balloons turn the flame on and off depending on whether they want to go up, go down or kind of ' hang there' I believe. So the flame burst would only be visible when they are giving the balloon some gas...so to speak!
At the distance they look from the person filming, it makes sense to me.
Also, looking at the 3 screenshot scenarios by onehuman on Page 1, the lights are in different positions each time so one has to assume that if he/they were faking, they have a heap of lights and separate control switches in that room and were kept VERY busy remembering which switch controls which light...lololol.

I wish those lights were still a mystery, but I inadvertently came across the site where they were, effectively, debunked.

I'm glad someone else remembers that. That started before I officially joined, but I remember the thread well. Lights all throughout 2010 and then....disaster in 2011 October. He didn't say anything about aliens though, which was weird. He said populated areas were going to be awful.

I keep trying to convert these lights into letters - I was trying to make sense of how to write them down as binary - would it be a reasonable assumption that they may be using ascii? Like some of the crop circles? - or were they debunked ??

I've been writing down them as binary using the first light as the start and moving clockwise to get the ones and zeros - assuming there are three lights on =1 and off = 0 but you need eight binary digits (01100001 = 'a' for example) to convert them into letters...
Perhaps they're numbers?

Sorry to say but these are hot-air balloons. Where I live you can often see them traveling at night in groups of 3 or more.

All we are seeing is the interior of the balloon momentarily illuminated when the burner fires. That's it
