If I were to be creative I would say you indeed sold your soul to the devil. If you start thinking that the culmination of unlikely circumstances which led you to being released from wherever you were are due to coincidence than you are probably fooling yourself and are fated to experience heightened tragedies in the future until you accept the path that you chose by your own free will. I would say don't renounce the devil, actually you should get to know him well seeing as he was the only one who cared about you enough to save you. Don't listen to everyone on here saying he is evil. The only evil thing in the world are peoples unconscious animalistic desires that they cannot reconcile with a higher moral purpose so they displace their negative emotions and submerged content onto an external being.

You have a debt to pay. Realize the truth of your situation. Be upright and a man of solid character, be honest, don't trash the things that sustain your life even if other people don't agree with it.

Awesome story! I don't care if it is true or not, but it sounds plausible to me.

I haven't read all the replies, I suspect there are a big number suggesting your story is false, another big number suggesting Christ can save you, and yet another suggesting you don't have a soul.

Here is my friendly advice. Nothing is binding unless you let it be. Maybe he was the devil, or maybe it was a coincidence, or maybe you conjured him out of your own mind, whatever the case, you have to live strong and righteously now. Do not accept anything that doesn't fit your current morality. Up to the last breath of your life you can still make significant changes.................................on another note, I don't believe we all have a unique soul. I believe our soul is a piece of a larger life force and we are all interconnected. If that is true, then the soul is not really yours to give away. It belongs to all of us, so you have nothing to worry about. You have probably set our whole collective experience back a little, but no big deal, we can fix it!

LOL that reminds me of when i was a kid (12) i was playing super smash bros, and wanted luigi so bad, that i said i would sell my soul to the devil, and BAMN out of the blue i unlocked the charater and insantly thought "you mother f***er that better not count"

So if the devil is real, he would play any cheap trick to have your soul, including making people believe in GOD, so you can be good and he still gets your soul. The best way is to be in the grey area (no pun intended)

I personally dont believe in God or satan (in the way many others do) My soul is mine, even if i barly feel any emotion, my conscienceness is mine and no one elses, tell yourself this everyday, and make yourself believe it, make yourself believe you are stronger then this devil.

Because really if you believe your soul is gone, then its gone, and if you believe you have it, then you have it, it is all in the mentality.

Perhaps God/Satan (same guy) was like, # man you saw a boy get rapped then got the # beat out of you, keep your soul, I'm doing you a favour, perhaps in the afterlife (if such a thing exists) you might have to return a favour, you keep your conscienceness, but other tasks might be needed to be done.

BUt yea that is pretty neat story i have to admit, captures the imagenation.

You did a very bad thing but at least you know this. Many musicians and entertainers make pacts with the devil and are miserable toward the end of their lives when they approach death and have to pay up. The devil is real and you don't even joke about such things as selling your soul. Nothing on Earth is worth doing that.

All you can do is ask God for forgiveness every day and dedicate your life to doing as much good in this world as you possibly can for as long as you are alive. We are all judged by our works here on Earth - how many we helped and how much evil we exposed. All of us should be be doing this anyway. For one thing, you should be warning as many as possible about the satanic new world order since this is the final battle against good and evil. Another thing you can do is help others in need. Be a soldier of truth and righteousness.

Become the change you want to see in this world and don't worry about what is already done. Fear is the enemy. Channel all your energy into exposing evil and doing good deeds and you will have ever lasting life. Remember, even the thief on the cross next to Jesus went to heaven with him. It's never too late to get salvation. Don't worry about your pact anymore, use all your energy to do good things in the world, bring joy to others and expose the evil out there so others are aware of it and can be saved also.

If it worked for "Ghost Rider", then why not you !

It's only sold if you agree to it. You can break deals with Satan, you cannot break deals with God. Baptize yourself or by a priest, etc, in a solemn prayer and all will be undone and made right.

you can sell your soul at 14. Its your soul. No one else is in charge of your soul.
You can get it back if you like. There are people who know how.
Native Indians have techniques, but if you don't already know such a person, you probably never will.
Certain Gnostic Christains can do it. There's probably a church in your area. See if you can find one, talk to the people, then search your soul, (ha ha , mean search where your soul used to be) and try to see if you can trust the person to help you. If they give you a bunch of religious jibberwaky, and brag to you about how great they are, forget it. But, if it seems like they know what they're talking about, go ahead and try their program. Other people and groups know how.

Im sure Ive heard this kind of story multiple times before. There are peoples in our society, made a deal with entities from another world.
But considering ur situation at that time, I highly doubt you've made one. Thing like that, AFAIK, need special circumtances to occur...

I read your story and think there is a possibility it could have happened. But then again there is a great chance that hell is just fabricated to make people fear doing evil deeds. You see, love isn't motivational enough to teach people a lesson. We went to two wars based on this fear and we know it works (Iraq+Afghanistan).

You won't catch anyone telling you not to worry about hell because we need that fear to make a better person. People say an all loving Father doesn't do that, they don't know fear is a tool which can be harnessed for the greater good. If you could have learned a lesson about life and if it made you a better person then fear is your motivation to do something big.

Life has many lessons for us to learn so that we may grow. Many will choose not to learn from their past experiences so they will repeat typical mistakes through-out their lives until one day they learn.

I hope you learn and grow from your mistakes.

You could always plea ignorance of what the contract was, after all it's kind of hard to sell something you never knew you had, or were aware that there was any deals going on with mythical imaginary entity's...... I'll tell you if god and the devil exist, if you tell me what a soul is exactly? All in all you have much more to fear from your fellow humans and there binding systems then any god or devil.

No devil only lies and fear. Take this experience and help yourself to use the empowerment for the good of all and yourself in the process. letting go of the horric past experience is difficult but a real measure of who you can become in spite of the demonic side of humanity which you encountered as a youth.

This idea then takes on new meaning and significance with modern quantum physics paradoxes involving Shroedengers Cat and the Von Neumann catastrophy, and the axiom "to be is to be percieved", which Goswami points out, is a paradox (collapse/non-collapse of the probability wave of causation) that can ONLY be resolved within a Monistic Idealist framework ie: consciousness is primary, with us at one end having a subjective experience or observing, and God, at the other end of the spetrum of awareness, making that experiece possible by observing the observing observing ad infinitim or a type of universal self awareness awareness, yet "sharing the kingdom" in the sense that it's set up or created on the basis, that it always "takes two to tango".
That too me is a very interesting idea, and a liberating one, in that the subjective prisons we inhabit from which it appears there is no escape, are nothing but an illusion of being set apart from real reality in some way, and not an intrinsic part of it, which turns the circle inside out, and opens up to novelty, creativity, inspiration etc, even joy and fun in the creative space of absolute freedom and unconditional love.
