I've been browsing through Google Earth and came across this image from the Libyan Desert.

I find it interesting to say the least. It looks like the result of a crash to me and heaven forbid it looks like its a ufo.

Is it just me and my old eyes?

I seriously doubt it.
If it was it would be HUGE.

Hello there!

Now really. Do you really think the PTB would let a crash disc slipped past their radar (literally and figuratively)?
I think this planet is so highly guarded that a tsetse fly can't escape Africa without someone knowing it!

So although it looks possible, it doesn't sound plausible. Would be cool though but, nah. I doubt it.

If you think 132 feet is large for a ufo, then I would agree.

I feel that an advanced race of ets should be able to meet those dimensions.

That would be HUGE.
Anyway of posting a screencap that gives some perspective to judge its relative size?

Scratch that i saw the grid locations on photo.

My initial reaction is, its just a weird land feature.

Bottom right corner I can read the co-ords with my eyes as it is in the thread.

Here you go.

28°10'24.48"N, 19° 6'1.55"E

If you look at the very bottom of the right hand side of the screen shot you can see the coords.

Yup. Old eyes.
It's a jeep road crossing a salt pan or some such thing.

Ok Phage, your premise could work, but but but, its not 100 per cent.

I believe you might be getting out of practise.

Good idea, I'll admit that.

Thanks,

Sadly, my eyes have diminished over the years. I do feel your pain.
My ears after 20 years of touring are pretty shot too.
My face was inches form the screen viewing the pic in the dessert.
Interesting, not sure what it is though.

Hi Clucker,

I literally do feel you pain as well, lost 35 per cent and nerve damage in both ears as well, sounds like a band playing 24 hrs a day. Not the best music I ever heard either, but I earned it from my line of work.

Hope your health is good otherwise.

Thanks for your help and thoughts also everyone else as well.

Hey, age has nothing to do with it, haha. It's coming up on ALL of us, sooner than we want, that's for sure.
Belief has obviously proven to be stronger than fact. We've all given in to that power before.

Sure, I'll take a shot.
It's a thing. Much like the things NASA films on Mars and sometimes, on the Moon. They feel that's good enough for us so I'm just applying the same tactic here.

Phage?
A wha.....? A Jeep road crossing a salt pan....? Where do you get that from and why is it designated just for Jeeps? And, where do you see salt? Is Libyan Desert known for their salt? Does that suggest that arid desert was once covered by the sea?

Can we go back to discussing UFOs now please?

Salt pans occur in various desert areas, including North Africa. But on closer examination it could be oil residue. That is a messy area.

"Jeep road" is a generic term for a rough track generally suitable only for four wheel drive vehicles.

You don't see the tracks? Did you look at the area on Google Earth?

Here's what the area looked like in 2003
