im looking at a video that shows a visible huge cigar shaped? craft in the sky in broad daylight
this in on a news report
its not cgi or a balloon or whatever!

It's a blimp......the fins (rear), propellers (black underneath, rear centre) and cockpit (at the front underneath) kinda give it away, does look kinda cool though

It was a homeland security blimp from what I understood. They built these things so they could hover over disaster areas for days at a time and monitor troops on the ground.

The footage is from 2007.
It's obviously a blimp. or CGI of a blimp.

Since when do balloons this big not show up on radars and suddenly disappear? Don't you think that if it were just a balloon, it would also be something that the manufacturer would be touting "as their newest" whatever...?

The hyperblimp company makes a 50 foot version, but they can make custom ones, and there isn't much of an upper limit except price. This is probably one they made for DHS or the DoD.

I don't see what the big mystery is here, the craft is clearly a hyperblimp as I posted above. It has all the same control features and everything.
